My favorites were History, Geography, English and Languages. They always seemed like "fun things to do" rather than "subjects." They still do! I learned most of what I knew about them on my own. No one ever really taught me Geography, for example. I just looked at maps.

It was the other way around with me… at schools I hated almost all subjects and liked the breaks in between..

Even though I got good marks’ based on that time’ , apparently the subjects liked me. .

But if recalled the most interesting ones were Maths and English and History…

I just realized, that as much as I don't know what I do in chemistry, I like it! :shy: I guess it's the fact I sit around fun people! Lol!! And my teacher's nuts!

My home life was horrid! So, I took refuge at school and in my studies. It was a world where nobody could come to disturb me. I excelled in everything, but my favorite classes were English, Mathmatics, Social studies, Accounting, Biology.

I always hated Chemistry, its the only subject I never did well in.

Music Class =|

I remember when I was in the elementary school, we had to take Music subject. First day of class, teacher came in, I thought he would look like Bach or Bethooven, but disappointingly, he looked like a truck driver. Anyhow, he asked us to buy Music Notebook, it was a wide dark blue notebook with 10 pages that had 4-lines sets of horizontal lines to write the musical notes on it. He was like going to make us Bethoven and Bach, and exceptionally Mohammed 3abdo.

In the Second day, I came to class, I forgot to buy the notebook, it was probably rare to find. He shouted "Yallah all who did not bring notebooks, get up, rise your hands" 6aa5 6ee5 [translation: Deesh Doosh Boosh]- hitting us with a stick. Yallah set down now, next class bring them". "Ok Teacher Bethooven", we said. Then we had our first lesson, Solfege "Do Ti Te La Le Sol Se Fa Mi Mé Re Ra Do", he said "Yallah say it with me loudly" - Do Ti Te La Le Sol Se Fa Mi Mé Re Ra Do - I felt I was the dumbest human being in the middle east after Hussni Mobarak.

In the Third day, I was happy, I bought the miraculous musical notebook, we long awaited. So, My father thought I would become Bethooven after I bought that notebook, so did myself. I got to class...Teacher suddenly spoke loudly and said "YALAAH, YOU" myself "ME ? ME ? ", him "YES YOU YOU ya donkey head" ...Get up and say the solfege you learned last class, I sang "Do TA TA La LA O dan danaah O Dan danaah". He went quiet, and said " RISE YOUR HAND, 6aa5 6ee5, dooosh deesh"

Years passed, the teacher must be dead by now, I must have to say that none of his students became Bach or Bethooven for sure, and my self, I don't even know how to drum on a broken table.

Based on true story.

I guess I had great teachers, that is why I loved so many subjects, because they made it interesting :)

That's really a factor Lym. I have always hated chemistry because my chemistry teacher was really mean.

If the teacher is good you would find what he/she's teaching to be good. That's what I believe.

Math is my all time favourite. Physics is nice too, but it depends on who teaches you! Biology is the easiest ever but too much memorizing. Chemistry was kind of cool.

I never liked Arabic & English because we had to do lots of writings in them. Also History, Geography & Islamic were the most boring subjects ever.

Math & the 3 Science's rocks. :sabla:
