Urine is the waste of the body filtered by the kidenys from the blood. Usually it is the yellow amber colour due to the pigment called Urochrome Under normal & healthy conditions the urine's colour ranges from light to dark However, there are many pathologiacl conditions that change the colour of the urine thus should be taken as alarming signs, for example: ---> Tea coloured in case of liver disorders & jaundice ---> Red, when associated with renal stones or in worst case cancer of the urinary tract ---> Orange, blue or green in case of taking certain medications, Rifampin is a drug used in treatment of TB & it turns the urine orange ---> Turbid & cloudy urine indicates infection of the urinary tract Multivitamin supplement also change the colour of the urine along with different food dyes Tiny Heart 27-09-06, 08:09 PM Hitman... those r very good info....
