Under-dressed.

With both you might feel out of place but at least when you're over dressed, you know that you're actually looking good.

She meant like if you're at a casual party, everyone is in jeans and casual tops, and you enter with an evening gown, then you're over dressed and if you entered with your house clothes or Pjs, then you're under dressed....Does that make sense?

Hahaha, no but this is generally what over and under dressed means. That scenario I just described explains it perfectly, so which one would you rather be, under dressed or over dressed: the one in the evening gown or the one in the pajamas? :inno:
