gangs in Oman

i heard on sunday night on the f.m a young man called abeer and was telling her that the most disturbing thing he sees is people coming from seeb and others from muscat in busses to fight as gangs, do we really have this in Oman?

well, i think that these things are somehow ture becaue nothing comes out of nothing, and nothing starts without an initiative. it doesnt however mean that all the people in that area are like that, its a type of stereotypes and it was greatly influenced and made convincing by the acts of some members of that part of the community. so to your questions couch potato, i think those gangs do exist in oman, and unfortunatly they will continue until the society takes a right measure here.

i dont no why u have bad view to ppl from seeb and muscat,have u heard about the crime in barka last week,have u heard about the crime in sur last year when 3 men killed a girle and in quraiyat when some boy,s killed a girle after they raped here r they from muscat.
ma sha 7elah wa ma feha elah.
and in these day,s the crime is increasing in all our country oman u know why becaouse there is no work no higher education ya3ny ba6alah. am i right or wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with jaw3an...it's everywhere in Oman not just in Muscat..but we've got to think and find a solution...i know it's hard and i know we can't do anything..but we have to try at least...just for Oman.

Hello all. Couchy. gangs are quite common in countries where ppl have nothing better to do and the government doesn't care. These guys are BORED. They listen to rap, watch gangster movies and then want to try the moves at Araimi. Before we sit and critizie lets try to give them better options such as more entertainment..more parks, better quality tv and radio, find jobs, increase the cost of ciggarettes, have more police out on the streets..if all thise don't work, then lets hope they all kill eachother quickly!!
