Do you think the Press and the media plays a vital role in creating wars between nations ? Are they tools of destruction or build bridges between people and society ?

I had a dream last night
Our Mufti made a strong speech on Buraimi dispute
It was reported on Times of Oman
Omani people went in the streets burning Emarati flags
Will my dream ever come true ?
Dnt think so
The nature of the country and people [education, culture, history] make a difference
But never say never, puppetteers are always around

They can also create a situation
but this works with ignorant-weak people
This whole incident is the result of a underhand press reporting, trying to sell newspapers.

Dont you think that it does create hatered and sides with its people to create some thrill and the results could be fatal ? Like this Pop case ....
Exactly. The press repeatedly quoted just those two lines, completely out of context with font size 24 banners saying the Pope attacked Islam.
Completely false but why do you think they did it ?
