I was watching CNN!

In Washington, D.C! I was at my university which was only a few blocks away from the White House.. When the news started spreading, the place turned into a huge chaos; people crying out loud.. some others freaking out since the White House was a potential target.. then there were police men everywhere around the campus.. the buildings had to be evacuated and people were running about like maniacs!

Until that point, the severity of the situation hadn;t struck me and I was just happy that the classes were cancelled :rolleyes: I left the building and wanted to head back home when I realized that the trains (underground) services were stopped until later notice.. so I just walked about in town until I was pulled by a random Muslim girl who told me I shouldn't be walking about due to a possible backlash against Muslims.. The girl, God bless her, took me to her flat and arranged for a car to drop me off where I lived.. and that was it! :)

i was sleeping then my little bro wake me up...he was like

I woke up to see my brother watching the TV, where they were showing whatever is happening.

I was organizing my birthday's party in UK.. I was born on this day :'(

I was very sick that day and was sleeping thank God. :inno:

I was walking around girls hotel, when a friend told me that the white house got bombed .. we did not have tv at our hostel (or not international tv at least) so we waited until the next day to hear what was it all about!

I was in Morocco!! Lol!!! Either at school, or home.. or out!! I can't remember exactly, but I know the house I was in!! :6:

I was at home watching tv - and got realllly annoyed when my dad came hurrying back home and switched to the news... he was saying things like planes and towers and all but I didn't get it until we saw it - I think it took like fifteen minutes for me to absorb the whole thing!

.....i was somewhere in Europe and was having a coffee with a friend of mine at a cafe and was waiting for other friends to join, and while we were sipping our hot drinks, the manager of the place put up the volume of the TV and we all were shocked to see what was happening.........

...........It took me few minuted to realise that what i see was real and not a scene in a movie......:os

.....my heart bit went sooooooooooo fast and was really terrified for some time, as i was not expecting what was next to happen after that moments....

I was practicing for a case with a client in Arlington, Virginia. My office was maybe ten minutes drive from the Pentagon.

We went to court, but someone came in and said that the judges had to go home and the court would close. We went to breakfast together and I told my client and her family, "This will change the world for our lifetimes. We are at war. There hasn't been anything like this since Pearl Harbor. And you probably will never see anything like this again for the rest of your lives..."

And we are all living through the changes still... And five more years from now, we will still be feeling them, I fear.

I was sitting at home in our living room watching Tv. I didn't think it was a big deal untill my dad clarified what was happening.

PS: I think mostly everyone remembers where they were when 9/11 happened and when Princess Diana died.

Oh my God so was I!! It was The Fresh Prince of Bel Air by the way. I actually waited until the commercials came on before switching to a news channel. Thinking it was an accident, I switched back to MBC to enjoy the rest of The Fresh Prince. When the other news flash came on, again I waited until the end of the episode before switching. I didn't realise just how serious it was until then.
