View Full Version : Dark Circles
fatamooo 10-09-06, 01:01 AM Ok I have a really annnoying problem that's been bugging me for a while. I have these dark circles under my eyes, and nothing I do makes them go away! I know for a fact that it's not from lack of sleep cos I sleep just the right amount of hours, and some nights a bit more. I don't know what could be causing them but I just want them to go away!!
:weep: :weep:
Can anyone suggest something?!
Libellula 10-09-06, 01:04 AM Apparently it can be hereditary..
cold tea bags... raw potato... cold milk (soaked in cotton)... cucumber (altho i doubt this 1 works, tried it myself)... well @ least i heard this stuff's supposed 2 work :)

Dark Project 10-09-06, 02:10 PM Could be lack of Vitamins ? Or skin disorder ? Or lack of sleep ! Where are our sabla doctors ?
cLueLess 10-09-06, 02:58 PM I read that if they're hereditary then it's almost impossible to get rid of them, but they can quite easily go away if it wasn't your genes' fault.
This (http://allergies.about.com/od/darkcircles/a/aa071304.htm) might help you find out what's causing them.
fatamooo 12-09-06, 06:12 AM Hmmm interesting site clueless!! thanks :D
Ok out of all those options, I would guess that it may be because of lack of some vitamins or something...
toxic_honey 12-09-06, 07:19 AM check this (http://www.lahaonline.com/index.php?option=content&task=view§ionid=1&id=9887)
and this (http://www.albawaba.com/ar/health,Beauty/237004/)
its in arabic ... look down :p
toxic_honey 12-09-06, 07:20 AM concealer :p
i dont think theres anything that makes them go away, just reduce
dont ever use that as a solve...
i heared it make it worest by the days
concealer is just a cover up but not a solution
fatamooo a friend of mine uses COLD tea bag every morning for 5minutes and worked fine with her, if that doesnt solve it then it must be something in ur blood or a warning of something ur body lake..... all the best luck dear
maybi u should sleep early ! i mean sleeping enough hours in the day wont sustitude the sleeep at night..
Angel_Eyes 12-09-06, 02:46 PM Cold tea bags??? what the? am i reading that right?
i also have the same problem....
i dont think i have them because no one has it in my family but me....at least all those i know their eyes are clean..... well i guess it;s lack of vitamins... well will try the tea bag solution.....
i was also told once to try to boil carrots and then mash them then apply to the cirlcles
Black Lolly 12-09-06, 06:05 PM cold tea bags,, my sister puts it from time to time,, and it works
---
my skin is darker around my eyes,, and when i apply concealer,, it looks really weird,,so i like it this way :)
Shinoda LP 12-09-06, 06:31 PM perverted?!! what?? man, some guys can turn ANYTHING into a sick idea
:p I would have told you what MK's post hinted, but you're young... so I won't corrupt ya.
(That emot is called tease?!)
I'd suggest getting good sleep at night, every night. Staying awake 6 nights and sleeping in on the 7th won't make up for it. Also, do stuff that doesn't strain your eyes a lot. Quit reading hundreds of pages of some novel in one go, read in a brightly lit area, reduce the brightness on your computer/laptop/mac powerbook monitor and so on. Don't know about "cold teabagging" though.
fatamooo 12-09-06, 10:48 PM Argh shinoda... do you have a hidden camera in my room or something :omg:... begone!!
FluidNutria 13-09-06, 02:53 AM ^^ i think itd heridity :s cuz even soomy's family are suffering from it and she gets enough sleep. Since you guys are related I''m guessing your gr8 grandma had a serious problem :p she probably didnt sleep well lol
fatamooo 16-09-06, 06:09 PM Lool darn it!! It seems like I get the worst things from my family genes! :weep:!!!
pReTtY_sIcKo 17-09-06, 01:46 AM i dont think they go they just like streach marks :S
fatamooo 17-09-06, 02:31 PM '3a9ban 3anhum theyre gonna go back to wherever they came from :yell:!! lol
pixie girl 17-09-06, 03:27 PM Basically anything cold can reduce puffiness, and ofcourse more sleep. Eating healthily works too
i agree with nosa
even if you slept the hours needed you still need to sleep on time..
i don't know if it's true but your body needs the sleep between 12-2 AM
and the lights must be switched off..i guess :XD:
