Amazing picture taking by chance to witness how mako shark can fly to catch their prey .. Makos swim in an aggressive militaristic manner. They are always on the move, looking , pacing and dominating the slick. Makos are bullies, and you can instinctively sense it. They are always on a mission, and it is reflected in their swimming pattern. They are not happy campers.

I have always heard from the Fishermen ( Al Theeba ) Lady wolf translation and I never believed that a shark can jump on the boat and attack humans .. Well this picture proves me wrong and we do have Mako Sharks in Oman :Shock:

OMG!! That's the theeeeeba I was told about!!!! I was too scared to go swim at qantab for months because I heard that their these ferocious animals which can swim in really shallow water and eats whatever it sees!!!

Funny they hate bubbles (Divers bubbles) but who knows look at Steve how he died a stingray that’s the last thing a diver or a swimmer would think about since stingrays are very shy and scared creatures..

There are 2 types long fin Mako which is not that agrresive and the short fin Mako shark ( which we have in Oman ) and they are as dangerouse as the Great white Shark and you find them in Al Khiran in Muscat and Damaniyat Islands where I dive ;) both places

nice picture... i love sharks & am always fascinated by them, which forces me 2 make a comment considering tht this thread has taken a turn 2 a slightly different topic... first DP when u say tht the shark "jumps in2 the boat 2 attack humans".. lol, i mean u honestly think it has tht level of intelligence? the only reason a shark would end up in a boat tht way is if it meant 2 jump up 2 catch prey & accidentally fell in the boat, thn obviously it would feel threatened & start biting @ wutever comes close 2 it. 2nd, the only types of sharks tht really mean 2 eat humans (only bcuz they eat wutever it is they c as meat) r the gr8 whites & the tiger sharks, all other sharks just take a bite 2 taste bcuz they mistake the human's horizontal shape 4 prey, studies have actually shown tht if u remain in a vertical position as a shark passes by chances r it wont come anywhere near u!

ok i think i got carried away with tht... my point is sharks rnt as bad as u think they r... they only attack cuz they feel threatened!

According to PADI International there werent any fatal shark attacks but few .. in Oman the only case which was recorded was in 1975 whereby it was German or a Dutch guy did go quite far in an open sea and got bitten because the Shark thought it was a prey ..

1-Great white
2-Mako Shark small fin ( we have in Oman)
3- Bull Shark ( we have in Oman)
4- Tiger Shark ( we have in Oman)
