Are you someone who'd wear dark lip liner (ie black, maroon...) and then normal lip gloss?
I went to City centre the other day and I must say i was amazed by the amount of lips that stood out...
I personally don't like it...how about you ?

i dont like it too, it looks disgusting. i like it when the lip liner is the same color as the lipstick or lip gloss

I never saw the point of lipliner if it's going to blend in with lipstick!! Lol! And I especially despise the dark lipliner--light lips, kind of thing.. :yuk:

i guess it could look good, & maybe even a bit sexy... but it was in style ages ago... i dont think it looks so flattering right now :) might be back in fashion, u never.... aterall fashion does repeat itself :)

Yeah, it was during my sister's days. She has pictures like that and I was like thank god, I wasn't a teenager then or one who wore make up. lol. I still laugh at her till this day :p

Coincidence: yesterday I was goin through an old magazine from early 2006 and there was this makeup artist talking about makeup do's and dont's and she was like, "I will never understand WHY people wear dark lipliner and light lipstick". It's just wrong!!! It looks like she started putting on her makeup and got interrupted or something.

Lip gloss or lip balm other than that its just way out of my league.

EW.. its just disgusting when girls do that, i just dont understand how they dont see what a mess it makes to them!

Dark lip liner with light lip stick is a huge NO, but when using a lip liner with a bit darker shade than the lip stick or gloss is fine. I only use lip liners on special occasions.
