Grégory Coupet (Lyon)
Jens Lehmann (Arsenal)
Defender Of The Year
Fabio Cannavaro (Juventus)
Emmanuel Eboué (Arsenal)
Carles Puyol (Barcelona)
Midfielder Of The Year
Deco (FC Barcelona)
Juninho Pernambucano (Lyon)
Juan Roman Riquelme (Villarreal)
Forward Of The Year
Samuel Etóo (Barcelona)
Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
Ronaldinho (Barcelona)
The voting panel consists of sixteen coaches, from the teams that made it to the knock-out stages of the competition, along with the members of the Uefa Technical Study Group.
=======================
My vote?
KEEPER: Lehmann (unfortunately I didnt watch many of the matches of the other keepers)
DEFENDER: Eboue (he was simply awesome)
MIDFIELDER: Riquelme (he took an average Villareal to the semifinals)
FORWARD: I cant vote. All did good...but I think it'd be between Henry and Eto'o. Eto'o might JUST win it, even though he wasnt that impressive in the final. The fact that Henry played most if not all of the tournament as a lone striker definitely gives him points in my book though.
