we see them everyday.. those who think they r at the top of the world.. who think they own everything..n that they r everything ! just becouse they know something not so many people know( y do i think this was mentioned here b4 ) anyways for exapmle photography or just coz s/he's rich.. how do u feel towards there ppl ? n how do u think u can just stop them n bring them back to relaity..

argh, my lil cousin in grade 4 is such a show off. Lol..and his dad is so down to earth and simple.

Anyways..I dont like showing off cuz i hate the idea of showing ppl stuff I have and then they go on like: a young guy has this and that..and he doesnt need it.

I HATE show-offs....plain and simple!.....also i think that the ones who are show-offs lack self-esteem.

I don't like show-offs. They're too proud, and look down on people.

some of you described show offs almost similar to arrogants... and perhaps there is a connection there...

not all types of showing off is bad... just like pride... it's good to be proud but bad to be too proud.
if you're good at something or you got something and you wanna show it off... it's alright as long as you don't look down on what others have.

as for my personal view... I'll speak of those who show off too much...
the act does disgust me... how I deal with them is either ignore... or put them down by showing something better :p...

This topic reminds me of a quote I once read:

"He who belittles you is only trying to cut you down to his size."

Don't do anything. One day reality will set down on them and they will get it. See if you try to bring them down to earth, they will think you're jealous, and there will be friction between you guys. So just stay "okay" with them and I believe eventually they will change because they won't get their way all the time [for the rich], I think :lift:

But what I hate most, are those ... like here in Qatar, some ppl that take their parents money and show off with a car or something. They just wanna show ppl that he has a car. I mean ... so what !
Showing off with stuff you have is nothing, unless you bought them yourself and you don't show them off that often.

Sigh ... Such people .. irritate the hell out of me, epeically the ones who talk about something they dnt know a thing about, besides those who buy stuff and keep bragging about them.
and not only that, for example he buies a neat car and starts puffing off with it and you eventually find that he doesn't have money to fill in some petrol -.-
and no one can deny that making yourself the king of the world by believing that you're 100% total right Buggs the hell out of any mortal.

There is only so little that you are able to do; congratulate them and remind them to appreciate their materialistic possessions with the attitude of caring....

....when you die, you are taking your soul, body, good & bad deeds only....whatever you have purchased in life will not go down with you, except if you have a tattoo...lol.... In life; humanly acts should be treated equally and with respect. The act of supremacy should not be acted upon on less civilised people....instead of showing off what u got...have gratitude and thanks to the most gracious one, God. Consider urself lucky with the life that God chose to put you in; imagine that ur world was in the 3rd world countries or in a war battleship country...with no main resources of food, water, electricity, education and shelter....God works in mysterious ways, Karma will hit u twice as hard; one day you might go bankrupt and loose everything then ur past actions of flamboyance would be useless and condemning...

why do u even have to focus on them or wanna solve thier problem ?!

I dont really care about others in that sense. They wanna show off let them do so... in the end everyone gets what he/she deserves. I just love observing different people, yupp thats how bored i get.

Waht I think that you do the same!! I mean Show off, but in a different way or style.
I guess we like doing it and hate seeing it done by others. This is my opinion!! and go easy on me while replying back.
