Real Madrid's Gravesen and Robinho exchanged a few punches during a training match yesterday, and were rewarded for their 'fighting spirit' by Capello, with expulsion fron training.
It all started following a heavy challenge by Gravesen on Robinho during the training match. The Brazilian had earlier complained of a few shoves, but lost it this time.
He faced up to the Dane, fingers pointing, with a few words of his own, and also a push. That quickly turned it into an exchange of blows, even as others rushed to separate them.
Gravesen could be seen fuming and thundering, throwing punches into the air even after the burly Baptista had managed to separate him from Robinho.
The unfriendly exchange took place late yesterday afternoon, with Sporting Director Pedja Mijatovic, as well as Baldini, looking on in disbelief.
Capello, never one to dismiss indiscipline, duly suspended them, and the duo had to sit on the bench and watch the rest of the match.
Following the conclusion of training, Gravesen headed towards the changing rooms, while Robinho got together with his Brazilian friends, and Beckham, who even managed a mock imitation of the Brazilian hitting out and then scurrying to avoid Gravesen, much to everyone's amusement.
Don Fabio is set to meet with the two players today, to discuss the incident and announce his penalty.
