i need some comfermation about something that every1's talking about ..

when girls have their monthly period they get a lot of cramps n back pains.. some have panadols n some take bascoban .. some even go to the hospital for injections coz the pain is unbarible.. they r also a lot of pills that are maid to releive the cramps that come with the period..
a lot of ppl say it's better not to take any of the pills coz they might couse a woman to not be able to have kids in the fututre..
is that true ? i mean what else can we do if they r major side effects for these pills ?

i dont think its true cuz if it were we would here alot more abt it (i personally check out medical articles every once in a while & never came across anything tht mentioned tht) thn again im no expert so there really is no point listening 2 me :)

The pills that you take for your cramps are painkillers and have nothing to do with fertility! Side effects of most over the counter pain killers are minimal and serious side effects are very rare..

Provided you do not exceed the stated dose for your age you are very unlikely to suffer any side effects from panadol (unless you are allergic to paracetamol).

Side effects of Ibuprofen for SOME individuals may include disturbances in the gut, ulcers, dizziness, and kidney/liver disorders, but this is very highly unlikeley! and as you see they have nothing to do with fertility :)

The usual drugs taken during the menstrual cycles are the NSAID's

There were some articles about those drugs leading to temporary infertility but that was the case with young females whom are on regular doses of those drugs, in cases of arthritis for example

However, they are safe for the relief of menstrual pain

9ara7a i never taken pills in my life all i know it F!@#$ ur body up, nasty inside out kind of thing depending on wut kind of body u got...anyhow wut i use is u know them things u can put hot water in em...well ya i use that...and i feel better bes the best cure for everything and its even knowin with them religious ppl i can say Quran since i aint sure bes i heard from a sayed ina the best cure aint no pills its LOVE and 7ANAN^_^

well i have to take pills or else id die from pain! so i just take them on the first day .. well i wish i dont get any side efeects results later on..

iv heard when uput ur right hand on the place that hurts n read surat elfate7a seven times it cures it.. iv tried it n it works.. but when im in severe pain i cnt think!

Diarrea sometimes but then i take Loperamide

Howvere there is still lack of proper evidence.. the findings which were presented might be due to chance, error which have to be validated well before making a general statment. Thus if you read proper scientific letrieture, No direct statments have been concluded.. they conclude that "SAID's MAY cause infertility..
