arabian bella 28-07-06, 12:00 AM Feel itching where exactly?
Im totally with u....where is the itch happening?????
FaRaSHa 28-07-06, 12:43 AM ...LOL....my wrong not to be specific....:p
....itching at the thigh area and upper side of the legs....
FaRaSHa 28-07-06, 12:44 AM ...Plus why do we feel itching when say we sit on a chair or on the floor......
....itching at the back or at the bum, or at the legs and thighs or sometime at your belly......:os
....P.s. though in many locatings the place is clean and there is no sign for any thing to be around to cause the itch....
The human body is colonized by many different micro-organisms, among them are the fungi
The itching that the person has in the inner thighs & groin are caused by a fungal infection, called tinea cruris
This condition is also called Jock's itch, because jockeys have them often due to the nature of the sport
Hot weather along with humidity play a major role
Can be maganed well by proper hygiene & anti-fungal creams

BliNd_MelOn 28-07-06, 04:14 PM Dearest Farasha.. From what you've mentioned and described here:
...Plus why do we feel itching when say we sit on a chair or on the floor......
....itching at the back or at the bum, or at the legs and thighs or sometime at your belly......
Do you actually mean "itching" or "numbness"?
Farasha, you can see a dermatologist if the anti-fungal cream does not help
the itching could be a rash or irritation caused by the material of clothing ur wearing.. avoid wearing to tight clothes so u can let ur skin breathe more to bear the humidity and sweat.
another reason could be that ur skin is just really sensitive so i repeat, wear loose fitting comfortable clothes..
if u suspect its not just an average itch, or if it really doesnt go away then make an appointment with a dermatologist. it could be a symptom of a different problem.
another note: answering ur question depends on wether or not u'v always had this problem. but wether its a yes or no or anything i say go see a dermatologist (doctor who specializes in skin conditions).
its better to be safe than sorry.
sometimes the sweat n heat n humidety caouses that itch.. elhumdela i dont get it .. i use to get it when i swim in the sea... but not any more !
Rossonero 02-08-06, 06:10 PM sometimes there's excess hair which might need some shaving?
adding some more facts:
- Mild allergies and drugs can cause itching...
- Interesting case i have seen on itching was high carottes intake. the pigment (beta-carotene) stored in fat tissue under the skin which can cause itching too.
as advised above: take anti-fungal or anti-septic creams.. best one is "Itch-Guard" available in pharmacies... drug-free way is go swimming. Muscat Sea nowadays is amazing.
