hey ya'll :) the pianist is travelling 2 sum place & she wanted me 2 leave a msg from her since she couldnt do it herself.. here goes :)

Dear all,

2 days ago I was returning home, driving from Zakhir towards Khuwair 33. Now if u noticed (those who live that side) there r 2 cute boys age 6 & 12 doing mashakeek everyday.
On my way back home I saw them sleeping on the grass. I went up to the eldest kid and woke him up. I Asked him if he & his little brother need a ride home. He said no and that someone will pick them up later.
I asked him to use my phone and call his father but he said his father does not have a phone and apparently his father hired
someone to drop them and pick them up every day... they pay him
from what they make from selling mashakeek.
I asked him if his father works and he said no. his father is very sick and can't support the family. They are 9 brothers & sisters and this 12 years old is the one that supports
his family.
Sometimes he makes only 3 RO from selling mashakeek. He's in the
same spot from 4pm -12 am everyday they don't have dinner or eat anything from the time they start until they leave.

Few friends of mine and I decided to collect money every month for
Sultan's family. Since it's only a matter of time till the municipality bans them from selling mashakeek.

Sultan is a smart Kid, well behaved and his little brother Saeed is
so adorable..
He says his older brother who's 16 does not go to school because his father took him out after 6th grade to work and help him in supporting the family. Am not sure if the eldest works or not but even if he does how much would he be making
every month? If u see Sultan am sure you're gonna pray that he doesn't face the same fate.

Those who would like to join the list are most welcome you can participate with whatever u can 1 RO, cloths or any other necessities.

If they don't need anything now am sure they will later when school
starts or when Ramdhan & eid comes. Believe me the smile u will leave on Sultan & Saeed's face is priceless..

Inshallah soon we will visit them at home and see what exactly they need and whether they are registered in the ministry of Social
affairs or not, in case they are not inshallah will help them in doing so.

Sultan & Saeed will be in the same spot, opposite al 3asma private
school in khuwair 33. Pass by and see for ur self if u want.

Please call me if you wanna join the list & help or have any questions on 99332971.

Regards

Eothyn
