In the past the team said because members who post there don't post in other sabla's but if you notice the dominat posters (from what I've seen) are C-ReD, Obli, PBA, Nosa and Braiki

I don't see how our posts decrease in other sabla's w/o the living room

The sabla has lost some members that I won't mention (they can mention themselves) because of such restrictions

Heh...Dont bother them or they'll make all the Members Lounge Sabla posts countless.

And I strongly agree about locking threads immidiatly, sometimes when a threads debation is on fire (In a good way), the thread is locked for some other reasons but stopping some members from making their points...Its like they try to shut them up in an indirect way.

It has limits cuz it's trivial... one can allow fun but I'm with the thought of limiting it because I do believe it will be given more attention than the other sablas which are more worthy of discussing. Just what I think.

Hmm..If members are only here to play games and 'chit chat' in the living room then I don't really think it's a huge loss for the sabla when they decide to leave?

Regarding the living room... 30 posts x 30 pages = 900 posts in total per month.

Regarding games : If we don't have those restrictions then the games will never end.

Locking threads : I personally always give a chance to see where the debate is going but if I notice it's quickly going out of control then I lock it to avoid further flaming and complaints.

I wont comment on the Games and Member living room thing cause I dont think that Sabla is present for chit chats only!!! (MIRC and MSN) are better for that!


BUT will say that Sometimes we do lock threads for the sake of the members to protect them actually (personaly I do that most of the times) that can happen in situation where is members take the threads in a flammy direction. and leaving it open Might in many cases cause uneccessary complains and hence Notices/Warnings/Banings ...something not me nore the members like I guess....

of the members that are active in living room they are active in other area's 2

heck some of the active living room members have won best member award

she meant that most of sabla members are related to each other and they support each other because they're relatives.... There might be members who r relatved to each other but I dont think they support each other just because they're relatives :hmm:
