View Full Version : Who is the greatest threat to global stability?
shamsery 04-07-06, 02:18 AM Extracts ,
The rest of the world has already reached a decision. A Harris Poll recently conducted for the Financial Times found that the populations of our European allies--Britain, France, Italy and Spain--view the United States as the greatest threat to global stability.
A Pew Foundation survey released the same week found that 60 percent of the British believe that Bush has made the world less safe and that 79 percent of the Spanish oppose Bush's war on terror.

This true.
Wheatear you believe it or not.
George W. Bush never striked me as man of gr8 power & authority... when he was elected president it was like handing over a set of lethal bombs 2 a kid... a recipe 4 disaster due 2 the lack of knowledge of handling such situations :) at the surface yeah it may seem like president bush is the main threat, but ever since i was a child i was taught 2 never underestimate the power of the israeli lobby... i'll just leave it @ tht :)
shamsery 04-07-06, 09:19 AM Question comes to my mind,
Who is a greater threat ?
Saddam or Bush?
Well, who let the dogs out in the first place........the biggest threat to the world is Al qaeda and all related Islamic terrorist groups......
Their goal is to destroy our way of life.........
PS.....I kinda enjoy my freedoms at the moment.

Seen V for Vendetta? Or Equilibrium? Read 1984? It may not be an outside force thats responsible for curbing your freedoms in the end.
I think without a doubt the US government has been the number one source of conflict, death and interference in other countries in the world for at least the past 50 years. I dont think you can even deny this. Not when you have websites like http://www.newamericancentury.org/ operating and declaring their objectives so matter of factly. Read the 1st document on this page:
http://www.newamericancentury.org/defensenationalsecurity.htm
When the number one goal is maintaing the power at whatever costs, you know you're in trouble.

In what way does this website reflect US Govt policy?
sheik-al-Tort 04-07-06, 07:59 PM I am the greatest threat to world peace, followed by me and mine

Please wait a while to watch consequence.
Morning sun will eliminate dirty dark.
......oh sorry I didn't think you guys were serious.
The greatest threat to the planet is most definately.....FOSSIL FUELS.......and the Chinese.......if they succeed in their industrial raise to 1st world status, they will begin to polute the planet to unbearable levels.......
The climate effects are already being felt........
The sooner we end the use of fossil fuels, the better our chances of survival......
There are about 2 billion people..Indian and Chinese who want cars and air conditioners.......they are adding about 5 million a year at the present......
Both of these old technology items polute the envirnoment......

good answer, i dont think any1 was expecting tht :) i do agree tht the planet is under threat but i disagree tht the chinese r our biggest threat... if ur talking abt the world's largest polluter thn every1 knows tht would be the U.S., even they agree 2 tht but obviously most industrialists dont care :) its even been shown tht the government (in the white house specifically) actually edit reports & statements handed in by their researchers & scientists so as 2 try 2 mislead the public in2 thinking tht the world isnt in as much of a risk as it really is. all this so tht they can go on witht heir business. & also if china does succeed 2 reach this status thn i dont think it will be possible if they continue 2 use the old & more polluting methods... obviously they would have had 2 have upgraded their ways... so no i dont think china can be the biggest threat :)
shamsery 07-07-06, 11:52 PM It means, U.S is the greatest threat even we examine who are poluting the planet.

Was any veto used when trying to solve those issues?
Which terrorist state is always protected by veto & overlooks all the UN resolutions?

Sir HITMAN,
Here is an extract from the list.
Russia vs Chechnya
India vs Kashmir separatists
Afghanistan vs Taleban
Iraq, USA & UK vs insurgents
Nepal vs Maoist guerrilla
India vs Maoist guerrilla (Naxalites)[/I]
Each issue is to good enough to run a thread.
Can I request mr pinnochio through you to discuss on issue separately.
But I presume they won’t do.
You will find US intervention all most every where.
