More than 1000 Iraqis dead in June reported by The Australia on July 1st2006.
AT least 1009 Iraqis, including civilians, soldiers and policemen, were killed in rebel attacks in June.
In May the total number of people killed was 1055.
The 1771, people wounded in June were more than 24 per cent higher than the 1423 recorded in May.
