Could the rape of male be as traumatic as it is for the rape of a female?


I don't think rape for a male would be as traumatic for a male. It would be a totally different experience from a females rape.

To be honest, I could never understand this male rape idea. How can a guy be raped? A woman can't initiate sex unless the guy has an erection, and guys don't get that unless they want to have sex, right? So then if they want to have sex, then what makes it a rape?

I was thinking of this, when the first post said 'think for a moment'. I think its a very relevant point - rape isnt about sexual pleasure, its about power. Having an erection is more of a reflex thing. A guy can be touched in certain places by anyone an still get an erection. The psychological stress that comes from the situation is what makes it considered as rape. IMO, if there is no agreement between the two that they both want to have sex, then it is considered as rape.

actually, i did hear of this one grown man who was overpowered by about 5 women and was raped. may be happened 15 years ago. there was even one woman who molested boys. i dont see it worse that a woman being raped. its a terrible thing no matter how it happens. it robs you of your dignity. then the fact its a great sin.

That's how usually females get raped, because they can't believe that this is happening to them. It might take them hours, or even days before they take in what happened to them. The same thing can happen to guys as well.

Some guys...teenagers specially, are neither tough nor self-confident..the ones who have personality issues...and on the other hand..there are those tough women, who have issues also..( btw..many women are in jail for raping males, as I read), who are tougher than most men lol...
