HITMAN 25-06-06, 10:06 PM Thanks for sharing A must read ToomuchaT 25-06-06, 10:13 PM .. thnx for sharinG! Tiny Heart 25-06-06, 11:07 PM U R welcome guys... Strangly many viewers of the thread & file downloaded many time sbut only 2 response :bored: Breeze 25-06-06, 11:30 PM i couldn't open it:os if its about fizzy drinks i don't think that i should worry coz i stoped drinking them like 4 years ago and my friends find that very weird...i rarely eat chocholate and ppl find that weird too lol The P!an!st 26-06-06, 01:19 AM :'( I CANT !!!!!!!!! Im ADDICTED AS LONG AS IT IS THE DAIT ONCE !! THE LAST DAY I DRANK ^ GLASSES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP! fatamooo 26-06-06, 01:42 AM Ok that's interesting, but I do have some responses about the points made in the presentation: 1-first of all, citric acid is found in lots of drinks that contain orange, lemon or any citrus fruit... so it can't be that harmful 2- maybe the pH of coke is 3.7, but the stomach produces gastric juices which has hydrochloric acid, which has a pH of 1.5 - 2.0 or something, and anything that goes into the stomach becomes acidified anyways. 3- Most drinks that people drink have a temperature below 37 degrees! Ice water, juice, whatever... who wants to drink tepid water? 4- the expirement with the broken tooth inside the coke isn't really valid, because first of all the broken tooth is no longer attached to someone's jaw which means that it's not a living componenet and doesn't have any of the defense thingys that a living tooth might have, and second of all, who's going to ferment coke inside their mouth?? So basically, the only really valid point is that the coke is harmful for bones... Tiny Heart 26-06-06, 01:53 AM hey fatamooo... Thnx for the respons... Ur facts r amazing, didnt realize such info.... Well, I try as best as i can 2 avoid such drinks, but i just cant, i gara have the strong will... fatamooo 26-06-06, 02:45 AM TH - It's just common sense :) - when ppl are trying to oppose an argument, they're going to manipulate the facts to make the other side sound terrible. And although I know coke is bad for the bones, I still had probably two or three today :os.... I'm completely and utterly addicted to it!!! HITMAN 26-06-06, 03:37 AM The low pH do have bad effect on the teeth, all the black drinks (cola, pepsi, rc cola...etc) have caffeine which is not suitable for children CrAzY 26-06-06, 04:00 AM I couldn't open it 2 But still am ADDICTED to drinks like (coke, pepsi, others) So why should i bother opening it :p Tiny Heart 26-06-06, 05:45 PM Sometimes I say khalas, I will commit in not drinking coke n stuff, I'd stop for a week or two, then go back, its so addictive :'( |
