I have some concerns about the contests here in Sabla, instead of giving 10 days of submitting entries, why doesn't the next competition be announced when the winner of the previous competition is announced. That will give everyone more time to work on something, thus more entries.

The other thing is, I think the memeber should be the ones to decide the topics of the contests through a little vote or other method.

What do you think ?

if members decide then the members will need to post the idea some time b4
the problem would be who'd be commited no one can gurantee that 3-4 members will propose ideas for the next competition

its a good idea I must say but we always lack members initiation!

no initiative members and if they are around! show your self and act ;)

Like members can give ideas about what should be the next topic of intrest theme...suggestions and the incharge of the contest might choose the best! and even can pend the other suggestions to the Next competition :)

any ways...I think the one who is incharge of such competetions will have better opinion than me in here :)

I think there are alot of intiative memebers, they just weren't aware that they can do such thing.

So how do we do this ?

If any member has any suggestions for topics then they can simply Private msg the moderator in charge of those events.

For Poetry contact : Storm_silent or Nightface

For Visual arts and Photography : Nabhan

and if the idea is good then surely we will use it.
