I was just thinking:

Why not have the last week of every month as a Sabla theme week? Interested members should change their combos(avatars and signatures) according to the theme setup, e.g football world cup theme, wild wild west theme, pop music theme?

Those who need help for avatars and signatures can always go to the various combo artists we have onboard. I can think of Nabhan, Nosa and myself right now:os (sorry if i forgot anyone)

There is no objective or benefit as such. Celebrating end of every month on Sabla as a theme week, will kind of put colour on the proceedings, and maybe more attraction to members.

And would you be responsible for picking the theme every month? Not only that, are you willing to design combos for several members every month according to the theme? :os

Though this theme thing comes by its own, for an example, now its the world cup, I guess the same when Ramdhan appears.

I believe most of the members like to represent something in their combos, I dont see having themes will go with their ideas.
Myself I wouldnt want to see combos around showing almost the same contents or lets say holding the same ideas.

Abs: Am starting to understand your point now. But don't you think that most members are or wants to be known uniquely and indivisually? Since Sabla is an online society, each member presents him/herself via their profile, posts and avatar/signature. Now if everyone joins together with one combo theme then it will be a pure competition of who made his/her combo better. Which is very similiar to the combo competition, which we already have.

It's a nice idea but not very practical.. It can be done among members who are willing and able to keep up with creating combos according to the theme every month. But I don't think it would be conveniant being mandatory..

I think it won't work as each member would like to have his/her style.

Abs can creat his own theme group loyalists and acording the number of members joining this might become popular...!!?

Well, if the members you mentioned who can help you with the combos agree and commit themselves to this idea, then I guess there is no problem. Whether this idea would work or not is under their influence.
