- You can use any Graphic desinging program you want and you can also do it by hand if you feel like it..I don't mind anything as long as it has the artists name as well as the song or album title in it and of course it has to be 400 x 400 pixels.

I'm sorry..but It really reallyyy has to be 400 x 400 pixels..so that they are all compared and judged fairly. It's a decent design..it just has to be bigger.

"Fragile" is a song by Sting, an old song, the guitarist Jesse Cook featuring the voice of Holly Cole came up with another version.
So the cover I designed is about the single CD including the two versions.
Alien is producing the single, what a production company I created :D

I know its kinda different, though this is how I imagine the song in my head, so it came like this way. Been non-stop playing this song for days now.

Zulfa , It MUST be about a song or a full album and it has to be 400 x 400 pixels. The only one that fits the specifications is that first tree one but it doesnt have an artist or a song/album title.

The rest of the ones you made are all the wrong size and/or the wrong concept (indian actor?).

Take a look at the one Nightface made and my example to understand better how your design is supposed to be.

In photoshoshop:
1. Click Image.
2. Choose "Image size..."
3. Change either the width or the height and the other dimension will be altered accordingly...

To set the width and the height to a fixed diemension (which is the case in here 400 X 400) do this extra step:

4. Remove the tick from the box next to "Constrain Proportions" at the bottom of "Image size" window :)

Still not 400 x 400 and the quality got very low when you streched it. You have to use a decent graphic designing program (adobe photoshop or even paintshop) and set the dimentions to 400 x 400 the way sensation mentioned above.

You will have to do it all over again using the required size i'm afraid. Streching it will make it loose it's quality.

Ok this was the hardest choice of my life....and damn it was hard. I ended up making two cover designs, for two cool singles by Shakira and Eminem. Problem was I was in love with both!

So I ended up making a secret poll(as most of you know by now:D) and tried to get members opinions. Guess what, the result was Eminem - 17, Shakira - 17. Lol, as strange as it seems, even members could not break the deadlock!

So I made the wisest decision I could make on the two. I did a coin toss. And the winner was Shakira. I must say it took me a long time to make both covers (some members thought I just copied pasted the eminem one, but I'll post the orignial pic and you make the decision.)

SO! Without any further deliberations.....here's my entry for the competition:
