Okay, I understand what does the ignore facility do, but what's the point of the buddy system? I've a few members on my buddy list, but I don't see any difference. Anyone care to explain its function? :cutesilen

It's used when you want to send a PM to multiple members, adding them to your buddy list makes it the easiest.

And how is that done?

To add a member to your buddy list: You click on the members nickname like here in the posts (a menu shows up), click on add "member" to buddy list.

Or did you mean sending pm to multiple members (who are in your buddy list).

In that case, I just checked. Am not too sure myself. there used to be the option to do so. Cant find it now. Will ask.

I STILL don't know what the ignore list is for! :think:

Basically, you wouldn't be able to read the posts of the members in your ignore list in any thread. It would be deleted or more like it informs you "this post is of someone in your ignore list" or something of that sort. I still don't know what's the use of the buddy list though.

The Buddy List will be more useful, if you will add some hack to it, like for an example, there is this hack, where whenever you disable the option of receiving private messages, this hack will allow you to receive from the members which are on the Buddy List only!
