Well, I went to the airport and I saw Elissa there, on a gold Nissan Murano, many people were taking pics of her, but I completly forgot about my phone lol...

I actually really like her music and singing. And when I bought her first album Arabic video clips weren't very popular so it was based entirely on the songs. Not that it would have mattered to me if I had seen her videos because I don't find her good looking at all. Unfortunately, Elissa is one of those singers who are good to listen to on CD but you gain absolutely nothing seeing her in concert. She has no stage presence. She sings the songs exactly like how they are on the album. She's no good at involving the crowd.

Yesterday it was probably even worse because she had a problem with her in-ear monitors which were playing too loud. Even worse, the show was entirely sponsored and they didn't sell any tickets. Unfortunately the sponsors didn't do a very good job giving the tickets away so the theater was half empty.

Man Oman sure is one busy place: MJ, Eblissa.. I wonder who is next?

I like her, I really do... I like her songs too :) But I never go to concerts.. so whoever goes, fill us in!
