MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said will preside over the military parade, which will be held at Al Fath Square in Wattayah tomorrow, November 18, on the occasion of the 35th National Day.
His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied during the parade by members of the royal family, the president of the State Council, the president of Majlis Al Shura, ministers, advisers, the inspector-general of police and customs, the head of the internal security service, the chief of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, commanders of corps, the Sultanate’s guests, members of the State Council and Majlis Al Shura, undersecretaries, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Sultanate, sheikhs and dignitaries, SAF officers and citizens.
All corps of the SAF, the Royal Guard of Oman, the Royal Oman Police and the National Firq Forces will take part in the military parade.
His Majesty the Sultan will also preside over a student show, which will be held at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar on November 20 on the same occasion. A total of 25,335 male and female students will participate in the show by forming splendid artistic tableaux embodying aspects of the blessed Renaissance.
His Majesty the Sultan will also preside over the military tattoo show, which will be held at Al Fath Square in Wattayah in November 21.

I am really looking forward to the Students show in the sports complex.
Did they switch on the decorative lights on the streets? I was hoping they'd switch it on when I was there but sadly that didn't happen. It would be nice if some members posted some pictures of them over here for us Omanis whom are abroad. :p
