Wardat_il'7leej 15-11-05, 02:32 PM Michael Jackson is in Oman and staying at the Grand Hyatt
There really is nothing more to add you are either one of the many who would flock to the hotel or the others whom are resenting his presence in the country. :mmhmm:

cLueLess 15-11-05, 03:17 PM What was the verdict on MJ's trial by the way? Guilty or innocent?
Wardat_il'7leej 15-11-05, 03:22 PM There are rumors saying that he is living in Bahrain, has recently been to Dubai (seen in Ibn Batuta Mall) and is currently in Oman enjoying our beaches.
Btw….HE is…reliable source
MJ was acquitted of the charges against him
Greg T Bunny 15-11-05, 03:24 PM The Gulf News (http://gulfnews.com/Articles/NationNF.asp?ArticleID=192549) also confirmed that he was in Dubai.
Michael Jackson surfaces in Dubai
By Felicity Campbell, Staff Reporter
Dubai: Ending the controversy over whether the King of Pop is indeed in Dubai, Michael Jackson turned up in the flesh to give away awards for the world renowned Dubai Desert Rally racing tournament on Monday night.
No one noticed him at first as he sat at the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi hotel, tucking into his buffet with close friend and renowned UAE rally driver Mohammad Ben Sulayem and Saeed Hareb, managing director of the Dubai International Marine Club.
Sporting a black black suit, white shirt and black tie, Jackson took to the stage and handed out awards to Stephen Peterhansel - who won the cars category of the rally, and Cyril Despries, who won the bike section of the race.

amo_l_oman 15-11-05, 05:21 PM Note for Carrefour staring men
Jackson allegedly visited a ladies toilet before taking refuge in Magrudys bookshop when crowds gathered. Police arrived on the scene in large numbers. According to the Australian shop worker who spoke to Gulf News, there was no doubt that Jackson went to the mall a fortnight back.
"It was definitely him," she said. She claimed Jackson was wearing an abaya along with the traditional woman's headscarf during the visit.http://gulfnews.com/Articles/NationNF.asp?ArticleID=192218
:eh:
NiGhTFaCe 15-11-05, 05:34 PM I heard about that he visited a ladies toilet!
I just wonder what is the purpose of his visit to Oman?!! pleasure or busniess?!!
why cant u guys just leave him in peace? He was acquited of all charges and so he is innocent unless proven so.
What's the big deal if he has come to oman. It's the same as YOU a tourist going to America or Uk or something. He has come to tour our beautiful country and we should take honour and pride that a great musician and singer has come to Oman who otherwise never get any decent publicity at all!
Welcome in Sir Michael Jackson. Hope you enjoy your stay.
Paradise Babe 15-11-05, 05:51 PM Your right Abs... Am so happy to hear that he is in oman... wish the media in oman would interview him or something so we could find out what he thinks about oman :)
btw... Why would he stay in Hayyat? why not al-bustan?
It amazes me , how everybody 'hates' this guy ... Yet, he is still the big topic in town ...

I think pleasure and business might mean the same exact thing to him? Or it might end up that way ...
_____
Abs, MJ's a celibrity. They want the fame and love to horde the limelight ... so what....Edited... if people want to talk about the pervert?
So what !! whats the problem with that !! ,,,

UnKnown 15-11-05, 11:10 PM Michael Jackson is indeed in town, and the purpose of the visit is mainly to buy a property at The Blue City (http://www.almadinaalzarqa.com/) project. He arrived earlier today and currently staying at the Grand Hayaat, he's leaving on Friday.

So then guess he will have to wait for 10 to 15 years :D
LOL!
I think pleasure and business might mean the same exact thing to him? Or it might end up that way ...
Thats why I am asking, hope it doesnt end with both :p
ToomuchaT 16-11-05, 01:18 AM kids be careful :D

ToomuchaT 16-11-05, 01:19 AM what if he is In Oman?? SO!!!

UnKnown 16-11-05, 01:47 AM So then guess he will have to wait for 10 to 15 years :D
The whole project will be developed over several phases, ranging between 5-10years. So it's possible for some property owners to move in before then.
As i mentioned earlier, stop trying to get my attention. If that cheap shot is the best you can come back with, then keep practising. I dont deal with attention seekers. Keep that in mind.
Wardat_il'7leej 16-11-05, 09:26 AM Why is it that threads always turns to personal subject?
Oman may not be on the map but its still known to a lot of people all over the world for its achievements in the last 35yrs. It doesn’t take a well-known celebrity to place it on the map or do anything other than the fact that they have been in the country.
This information was placed for your knowledge and nothing more. As most of you said ‘so what?’ that he is in the country ‘so what?’ if Brad Pitt is in the country or even Bill Gates, its just that so you know and realize that we are gaining exposure to the world, maybe not in a significant way but still its present.
As for the perverted comments……NOTHING
MJ in town oh my God :hyper:
Wardat_il'7leej 16-11-05, 09:29 AM I think i just told ya
amo_l_oman 16-11-05, 09:45 AM Warda
if it was not important
why did you post it then?
Wardat_il'7leej 16-11-05, 09:49 AM As i said amo....for peoples information, but there are those who converted it into a perverted freak show. :mmhmm:
amo_l_oman 16-11-05, 09:55 AM Wanna go for the pic, they say he is available 8 hours today :hyper:
But yes is sad, we're going to celebrate national day but at same time we are spoiling its meaning with this rubbish.
Is the price to be paid by a country which still lives in contradiction.
Wardat_il'7leej 16-11-05, 09:59 AM We as a country try to balance our contradiction and always take the moderate role of tolerating anything from the outside while still trying to maintain our own identity. I was thinking of the same thing you mentioned, about the great timing of these visits yet I also realized that there is no real significance to it.
I dont mind trying to locate him for a pic lol :) it would be fun to just see him in person
for peoples information, :
Is it important to know?
toxic_honey 16-11-05, 10:02 AM ^^^ dokom!
4 some it is...but not 4 me :D
Wardat_il'7leej 16-11-05, 10:05 AM Is it important to know?
Is it important not 2?
Wouldnt you rather know whats going on in the country?
The difference being in if you care to know more or not and wanting to follow up in the infomation....thats your own choice

Your own choice yes, but if the person doesn't know about it then he won't follow (if he wants to follow) but now this is like adver. if you know what I mean.
toxic_honey 16-11-05, 10:10 AM ^^ she is right... she got apoint!
most of ppl who do come to our country and they tell us about them in NEWS
r not important, but in another hand we better know about our country

Wardat_il'7leej 16-11-05, 10:19 AM Informative advertising lol as I said its up to you to do what you want with the information :)

Shinoda LP 16-11-05, 10:55 PM One day before y'day's nightline, it said MJ's bought some property in Bahrain and people in US highly doubt if he'll ever come back to the States, for all the negative attention he gets here.
I hope he realizes what laws in M.E. are, regarding child abuse ... if he ever gets caught, which I highly doubt.
Pineapple Thief 16-11-05, 11:15 PM Hes too rich to be caught, innit
Shinoda LP 16-11-05, 11:16 PM Hes too rich to be caught, innit
Filthy rich, even though people say he's losing tons. Heck, just sell the neverland estate and he'll be rich again ...
if MJ if touring the gulf nations to find good property & eventually settle down here, hes most welcome!
but as mentioned, he must be careful of the kids here :6:
to get a taste of that, he can go to any government school & enter any grade from 6 above...
