well I don't really make fun of the japanese language.. but when it comes to japanese people.. they're ridiculously immature.. I can prove that by having Azrael backing me up on this.. Americans here in Japan sit around and constanly whin and complain about the stuff they don't get...........
Of course there are some very unique aspects of culture here that many foreigners cannot understand.......

The fact is......you are always an outsider here........Japanese are in some ways like many other tradtional cultures.....caught between the modern world with deep ties to their past.....

Most Japanese have many faces.......and the social rules are most important, with many layers of social interaction.....most ousiders only barely understand it.

I agree that they appear very immature at times and awkward, but that is mostly because they don't know how to interact well with foreigners......

Keep in mind also that the Japanese will always maintain a buffer zone.....to keep distance.......

They are not perfect, but who is......??
Japan is still a very clean, ordered and interesting place for those who can be patient and understand......not what is said, but many times what is not said.

PS.....as a Zen master once said......the art of life is to hear the one hand clapping.......still working on that.

pple who make fun of any nationaly whether its japanese , yemeni , qatari , kuwait , hindee , it means he has no respect for other cultures and doesnt apperieciate human differences ...He is just not Open around differences and has a narrow mind for that.. he might be living in a society or a circle that is close to one origin .. and if he doesnt respect other pple , to my opinion , he doesnt deserve to be respected back
