I'm desperately looking for a network unlocking code for my
new Vodafone moblie (Nokia-6020).

The problem is: Currently, I cannot use it because it refuses
the local Omani SIM card.

I'd be so greatful if someone can provide me with this code.

PS. I need to give this phone as a gift to a very close friend of mine
today itself because it is his birthday!!!

go to any shop and they will fix up your phone by 1 rial .

I went to three agents including the dealer (MHD) but they still

Any shop should be able to format the handset for you and it should work fine.

You should have unlock it wherever you purchased your phone. In Australia , they unlock it for $50.

Empress...I bought it from the UK and it looks like I'll not be able
to do anything unless I go 2 visit them personally! B'caz emails
and phone calls are not working with the no.1 network in the UK,
the great 'vodafone'!!!!

I am using Vodafone , but I made sure that my phone accepted my Omani SIM when I bought it. A friend of mine had the same problem that you are suffering from and she had to pay $50 , so that they can unlock her phone.
