I have seen internet pictures of Allah's name written on eggs, formed as a tree, on water melon, and even as far as the tsunami! But I always had this feeling at the back of my mind that they could have been made up using a graphical editor.

Few days back, as I was washing our car, there was some grease on the tyres of the car. I scrubbed and washed away the grease. This grease mixed up with water and was flowing away. On finishing my work with the car wash, I noticed that the grease had flowed a little further and stopped. As I moved closer, my eyes flinched. Was it true what I was seeing? I moved even more closer....and lo and behold! A small portion of the grease had formed itself in the name of "Mohammed" (saw) and above it was "La Illaha Illallah". I showed it to my mum to confirm what I was seeing, and she too couldnt believe it. I immediately took some pictures. I even tried rubbing away the grease, but it does not rub off at all!Subanallah.

Does anyone know what;s the meaning of this and if so, what is the significance?

I will post the pics later inshallah.

Subhanallah. Relatives of a friend of mine had a goldfish a few years back. The fish was perfectly normal until one day, without any introductions, its scales started forming the word Allah. That only lasted for a couple of hours because the goldfish expired. It was even on the newspaper. I don’t know if that’s a sign, but Allah’s name is everywhere. We experience Hiss miracles everyday in many different ways, but we still take that for granted and hardly ever stop to think.

AP these pics are for those who do not believe in Allah. These sort of things happen so that Allah may show his miracles on earth to the dibelievers.

It could also be a reminder for us muslims that Allah is always there, and that we should hasten with our prayers and our faith.

Arabian Prince, I've just downloaded the pics to the computer. But am in a hurry, inshallah will post them later,

I would love to see the pictures too!!!!!! Not because I don't believe in Allah, because I personally don't need signs to confirm his presence. But when it comes to these things I think that people see what they want to see and that these writings are just something that you form in your head...where you might see Allah...somene else may see otherwise, and that's why I gotta see it to believe it. :D Hope you post them soon!!!

Abs, do you seriously think disbeleivers would be convinced that Allah exist because the name of Allah is formed in greece?!
We should talk with language disbeleivers understand, reason .. and I dont think Quran and Islam are short of reason ..

I agree with AP(f) ... I wouldn't start believing in Allah if I found Allah carved while slicing a watermelon. :os

Unless you were a mechanic, you should not consider it to be one. An illusion more or less but hey give yourself credit for having an artistic eye.

A serious post:

There was a Fegh debate among two Scholars once, and it lasted for weeks. One of them clearly had the upper hand, and seemed to win the argument however those monitoring the debate changed their minds and decided that the winning guy lost. Why?

Because he came one day saying that he just saw the prophet peace be upon him in his dream and the prophet told him he was right.

On a personal Scale dreams, events that makes us feel that our prayers have been answered can only mean something to the person. But it does not mean that it should be a general rule that people should follow.

I do not want Shinoda LP for instance to convert to Islam because God's name is written on an apricot, I do not want Shinoda to convert to Islam because he has realized the scientific meaning of a verse nor do I want him to convert because of a name that only means something to a Muslim is written with grease on my windshield. Islam in it's core is an answer a human embraces to a call from within that there is a larger meaning to life.

The prophet promised his followers Persian and Roman empires, but he still worked to get those. He went about raising a nation from the dusts of Arabia, and the prophecy as such fulfilled. Our religion is not about dreams, it is not about miracles nor it is a religion of make-believe.

It is sad nowadays to read an sms message saying that Scholar blah (usually the name looks like it was extracted out of ancient scrolls and you never heard of this scholar when day to day events were affecting our lives) had a revelation so we must read surat al Saff 17 times tonight or else…. The msg usually leaves me screaming in panic : or else what!?

Ofcourse what you say is true Shinoda, that you wont believe in Allah just because you saw His name written on a watermelon or whatever. But wouldnt it get you thinking? Why did it happen? What has Allah and His name got to do with me?and so on......

Anyways without further much ado, here is the picture. I would like your views on it:

Doesn't look like it got created of natural causes, looking at the background and all, but I'll stay away from that discussion.

And no, it wouldn't get me thinking, Abs. As I said, if I were to see the 666 graved on something of natural causes (or if I just happen to have a wierd, creative eye), then should I conclude that the devil exists and he needs me in?

I'd say stuff like this is helpful to those who have an inferiority complex over their religion and need something more than just in the books to keep their faith going. =)

Yes it got created of natural causes and I dont care whether u believe it or not. Im very religious and lying about something like this is not something I would even think of doing. What I do care and am interested to know is, do you think the words are what I thought they are?Anyone to confirm?

By the way, you dont need a weird or creative eye to see a fact. And I do think that all muslims are far from the inferiority complex over our religion called Islam. All muslims (I speak for all good muslims) wholeheartedly believe in Allah and do not need a book or a miracle to confirm our faith. The Quran and these small miracles are something that keep reminding us about Him.=)

Guys, I dont understand why a thread like this has to get offensive. Lets just get back to the main topic. You know what, I'd really appreciate it if you you guys go back and edit out anything that may even POSSIBLY be offensive to anyone else - it would make my job so much easier. I hate editing posts, and I see little point in it, but sometimes its the only way.

Yet another member trying to intimidate me on Hinduism, lol. Dude, I frankly would have posted the same comment if a Hindu had posted a pic of "Aum" being created from grease marks on the ground. I never mentioned Islam anywhere in my earlier post, but just talked about inferiority-complex in general if any mature person believes in such "miracles" to believe or strengther their faith in God. Oh well ...

Enjoy your beef; hope it tastes as good as my BBQ pork sandwhich. =)

whoa and all this time I thought by indian you meant native american since you live in texas.. I was wondering why the heck people are talking about hinduism with you and such.. :p

It's to make your strengthen your faith... Subhan allah...
God wants you closer to him...

Errrr...sorry man, but it doesn't looks anything like the prophet's (peace be upon him) name or the two testimonies. Some of it does look like Arabic letters but it is definately not a religious statement.

MorphaKnight
11-09-05, 10:59 AM
I have no idea what that looks like either.. it may look like a statement of some sort but I doubt it says the shahadah or something. Honestly though I think some of the names of Allah on the internet seem more or less fake.

Its an interesting picture. I cant make it out, but it certainly looks arabesque.

It doesn't really matter to me what it looks like. If Abs or others see something in it that reinforce their faith, whatever, after all, pretty much every religious person including Muslims, believes that Allah gives signs and messages to the World, whether collectively or individual. As Christians say "God moves in mysterious ways". Allahu A3lam. After all, there are many things other than random patterns in fruit or water droplets that can remind you of the presence of the Divine. To each their own...

All that stuff about Hinduism was not nice though, would rather see that deleted.

ABS:

The name you think you see is nothing but an illusion,; Here is a fact for you Quran says :

'ولا تسبوا الذين يدعون من دون الله فيسبوا الله عدوا بغير علم'،

Translation would be nice if someone could do that I would propose to her as a reward (not really.. that would be like umm bad , if you are a guy though then forget about the proposing part )
did you follow this rule ? looking at the way you bashed other religions, I guess not. It is time for us to practice Quran instead of promoting it.

Here is the translation by Shakir from: http://quran.muslim-web.com/

And do not abuse those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they should abuse Allah out of ignorance. Thus have We made fair seeming to every people their deeds; then to their Lord shall be their return, so He will inform them of what they did.

People see what they want to see , It doesnt necessarily have to mean anything. I personally cannot see any religious statements there.

I would agree that people see what they want to see , It doesnt necessarily to mean something right but at least it mean to them which is fine
