A lot of ladies have so much free time they don’t know what to do with it.
A day in a purposeless woman’s life: One thing leads to another, and there she is, standing at a shaman’s doorstep. Coincidentally, things worked out well for her after consulting him, and there she is, hitched!
But even some educated and famous women don’t take a step without consulting their shaman. It’s emptiness I guess and lack in faith. Some people just need someone to turn to and put their feet back on the ground.

Perhaps it's because women often feel that nobody is listening to them. Men see a problem, and focus on the shortest route to a solution. Women in turn like to deal with a problem by talking about it. Simply expressing how they feel and being listened to makes them feel better, whereas men tend to be goals-focussed.

Married women in particular can find themselves feeling isolated as the closest person to them (their husband) is biologically designed to reply to them with quick answers and instructions, rather than listening and empathising. A married woman often spends far less time with her old friends, and therefore loses her normal outlet for a feminine exchange of emotions.

In these circumstances, going to a person who listens to their every word, then rather than telling them the answer gives a long and detailed spiritually/emotionally worded response, based around everythin they have said, is appealing. I don't think that women are more gullible than men. But I do think they are more attracted to interactions where they feel they can express their emotions and be understood.

Anywhoo I really have no idea how to reply to this as I think that most wives are somehow interested in things that are unique and interesting. Things that can spice up her life a little bit because she feels like she has lost her femininity after becoming very close to her husband. It could be psychologically bad if a woman stays away too much from women otherwise she could end up much like a tom boy in some manner.

I totally agree to that... as I have witnessed it myself. Its a rather disturbing but true phenomenon among our society unfortunately.

However I think the answer has something to do with what mimo said about the actions taken by both males and females in order to reach their goals.

I also think that it has something to do with females' overwhelming need of support and guidance. :)
