i have half of my name as my name in the bluetooth .. I rarly open it .. except when I want to receive something .. but sometimes when I am bored at a mall, I open it to view what kind of nicknames people have ..

I had a good laugh at bahrain.. many people used bluetooth and they had very intresting nicknames :)

come on Icey.. I thought you new.. let me give you a hint: it is a name of a king, we were at the mall and I was sitting by one of the guys when they were trying to recognize each other names and I was like hey that's me.

He is right. I never liked the thing so i only use it whensome one nags at me to open so that they send me something.

I only open it when someone I know wants to send me something, or want me to send him/her something in return, otherwise it's usually switched off, makes life easier, and saves my battery!

Its amazing, but there is this stupid company in UK called "3" have locked the bluetooth capability in the phones they sell (they are like Vodafone etc.) so that you dont share for free, so that you can send Via MMS or e-mail.

There was this Qatari guy who visited oman, me n bro decided to take him somewhere, he said he wanted to go to City Center..well when we were having dinner, he switched on his bluetooth trying to send some people some stuff, his number was on his bluetooth name..he was looking for the girls he was trying to pair with or send stuff to

No I dont. Only when i need to receive something. But sometimes when I forget and leave it open, rarely receive msgs. I use the name TheGame :hyper: Of course it is a great service. And its called bluetooth after some middle age warrior :think: And lastly, I did receive some weird files a couple of times ut i rejected it.

I like it. You get to tranfer files/songs to friends and recieve from them.

Waaaaaaaaaaw I let it open during my shopping in one of the Mall.. Just Guess they were lots of message coming in via Bluetooth and I was forced to switch it off. I did not bother to open any message.

I would suggest not actually even opening Bluetooth in the first place in malls. Even at home I don't open it, unless I do get some pics from my PC to my cellphone.

No its not possible you have to accept it the message then it will open.. otherwise if you dont accept it you wont see it..

People will send anything for funny.. perhaps to kill their free time... or to destroy your mobile.. I dont really know what is their intention..

And that's why I would love to try and accept their message next time when I visit Malls to see and read what their message says.... But at the same time I am worried incase they send Virus to crush my Mobile :os :o
