Those poor Spice Girls fans out there! Every day they hear tittle tattle about their favourite band reforming, not reforming, being shot into space or whatever. What'll they make of the latest that the Girls are to reform as a trio?

According to yesterday's News Of The World, Geri, Bunto and Posh are willing to give it a go, but it's still a no for the Melanies.

Things might not look all bad for the trio though. A source told the paper: "There's already been some interest from record labels who are keen to sign a deal with just the three of them."

Wow, this source is chatty, eh? "Sadly, there's no way the two Mels will agree to come on board so the rest of the girls had two choices, either give up or go it alone."

There's more? "Now Emma has been telling pals they'll þdo a Bananarama' and continue as a trio. And with or without the other two they stand to make shedloads of money."

Well, that's OK then. We'd hate for them to be short of a few quid...

I think it would be kinda cool to see them as a trio. victoria , geri and emma have always been the hottest and coolest ones anyways , and well Desitiny's child dropped from 4 to 3.. so it actually could just work out after all.

I was a spice girls freak, i loved them to death, so I hope that if they do reunite, they dont ruin the Spice Girls image, or their memory.

I’m not sure they’re ‘hot stuff’ anymore. Corny music isn’t the rage these days and the girls aren’t as cool as they used to be. They were young and crazy. Just compare ginger spice before and after!

never used to be a fan really... but liked their songs nevertheless... so it would be interesting to see them go back again... you never know.. they might make it... they don't have to be like they were before... :)

But I think that if they did get back together, their style would probably be more mature than in the Spice Era, you could even see the difference between their first and last album..
