whats the best bookshop(s) in Muscat? Im looking to buy some books, any suggestions? I usually go to the airport, but...thats when i travel only obviously :p suggestions?

For english books I only suggest "Family Book shop" Either in MSQ or in Al Qurum.

There's a second-hand bookshop in Al Wadi Al Kabeer. You might find something there.

House of Prose GND, I'm sure he knows that one though. PT why don't you just go to Alfair? They have a pretty good selection.

I would suggest Family Bookshop (regardless of the branch). And if you're ever looking for a book thats currently unavailable they could always order it in for you :)

If you can wait Turtles can get you any book from Dubai through their partnership with Magrudys usually within a week. Otherwise you'll have to go to all of them till you find the book you're looking for. I'd start with Family Bookshop then try Turtles at Intercont.

Family Bookshop have improved a lot in the last year.

By the way I hear Turtles is starting a home delivery service.

There is a book shop in Al-Wadi center called: Al-Batra bookshop. Its good. Didnt go there for a long time. I usually go to Turtles in the airport.
