Initial D is one of the unique anime series out there. Its simply outstanding.

1st Stage - 26 Eps

Battle Stage - Movie (Purely all the races taken place so far with excluding the series details)

I saw one eps (well actually some parts of the first eps) and I think its not bad.. But just didn't get the chance to watch it all..

The animation is of the characters is not all at least in the 1st stage, but the plot and storyline and car races are amazingly done.

if your a car racing fan this is a must

I loved it in fact its one of the first animie that could attract me to this fantacy world!!!!!!
after which started to be more intrested in other anime series of different kinds!

Initial D is a must see for any car fread :D

The stage one and 2 were made on low budget,So the quality was abit lower..

But at the end of 2nd and 3rd ..They improved the graphics and all...

It's simply amazing and sooo real ...

Plus..The good thing is..I own two of the cars in Initial D :p

The quality of 4th stage is on the top and the plot keeps getting better and better...

I watched the 1st three episodes from Stage 4, the drawings of the cars & the rest of the scenes are really that good. But, not for the characters, these were fine!

Of course, how the story is going on is like any other anime. But, let me say that they are telling true informations.

15 is finally out :D

Just saw the movie...

It's kewl and all...The story is taken from stage 1...

But it only comes in japanese :(

No english subtitles yet...

And yes 4th stage - eps 15 and 16 are out.. and they are awesome... the rumor said 16 was end of the stage. But it seems they were wrong. The stage is still going on... the current race in ep 16 is very interesting... wonder how the output will turn out...

The Initial D movie is a huge hit in Japan this summer. It's making more money than Star Wars Episode III there. It's directed by the people who made the Infernal Affairs movies.

Eps 23 and 24 Finale, been out for a while. And I must say the ending was as always awesome!

4th Stage is definitely the best Initial D in terms of graphics and story. Each race makes it all better and better.

I wonder if 5th Stage will come out anytime soon.

But for now. the 4th was just great!

I have it on the PC, didn't watch it though, my brothers do!
hmmm....sounds cool, I'll start watching it then :D
