guyz, i read in a magazine that shampoos that contain "sodium laureth sulphate" can lead to cancer in the long term
i couldnt find any shampoo that doesn't contain that except himalaya shampoo .. do u guyz know any shampoo that doesn't contain sodium laureth sulphate??

if there's hardly a shampoo that doesnt contain that dear SuGaR... then I guess 1/3 of the world would have cancer by now, don't u think?... and I'm quite positive they all use it in a long term... what would that tell us I wonder........

At first glance of the intro I noticed the substance "sodium laureth sulphate", and I was so sure that almost allll shampoos must have it. So it is true to some extent, and if I'm not mistaken its one of the vital active substances in shampoos.

Well I'd hate to break it to you ~*SuGaR*~ but nowadays, there's no telling what can lead to cancer. Obviously we are much safer using all natural products, however companies nowadays will do anything to sell their products, even if that includes endorsing a "supposedly" natural product that contains artificial ingredients such as SLS especially when its essential in the making... :os

actually , the story of sodium laureth sulphate is very old...
it is used in toothpaste and shampoo to creat bubbles... also it is used to irritate skins as a medical use.

The association with cancer is not well documented and no prooof are available to prove this association.

It has been a while when i did a full search on this topic and i wanted to post it here. Thank u sugar for starting it.

I heard that Herbal Essences shampoo might cause cancer... Am I the only one who heard this rumor?
