You made this statement ... now give us the #s
1. How many died while Saddam was in power?
2. How many have died in the last 2 years?
You tell us. How many childern died due to UN sanction?
Who supplied weapon , maps, intelligence against Iran to Saddam?
Stick to the topic.
3. more Iraq people died in the last two years than in the thirty-five (?) years Saddam was there ... which was worse ? why ?
We are talking about last two years.
And if Saddam complied with UN resolutions, the embargo would have been lifted.
Think Oil for Food Scandal with that rascal Coffee Or None.
shamsery 11-06-05, 02:09 PM 3. more Iraq people died in the last two years than in the thirty-five (?) years Saddam was there ... which was worse ? why ?
Comparative study.
You are to examine the statistics 2+35= 37 years.

MoonShine 11-06-05, 09:30 PM You tell us. How many childern died due to UN sanction?
Who supplied weapon , maps, intelligence against Iran to Saddam?
You mean the sanctions that were brought about by Saddam himself? You mean the sanctions that brought on the oil for food scandal that the UN itself was knee deep in? You mean the sanctions that Saddam could have had removed had he cooperated and not killed all of his own people as a result of?
Those sanctions?
The US did not kill anyone. Saddam did. :afro:
first .. you don't need numbers ... common sense would be enough to know that ....
second .. if the first question disturbs you so much you don't have to answer it ... answer the rest ..
shamsery 12-06-05, 12:12 AM Do you expect answer.
“I am an activist who has dedicated himself to fight injustice, and I find that Iraqi people have suffered the greatest injustices for decades,"
first .. you don't need numbers ... common sense would be enough to know that ....
second .. if the first question disturbs you so much you don't have to answer it ... answer the rest ..Ok rascal let's use a little common sense.
1. Are the Iraqis satisfied by the current situation ?
Appr. 60% of iraqis are shite 20% are kurd ... both or 80% were systmatically exterminated by saddams regime and now they are fixing to fry his @ss.
Common sense tells me that 80% of iraqis are happy with the way the situation is playing out.
2. How corrupt is the new goverment ?
Don't know never met any of these guys and really to soon to tell.
3. more Iraq people died in the last two years than in the thirty-five (?) years Saddam was there ... which was worse ? why ?
For the benefit of the doubt lets say the present or the people in power the last 2 years are repressive killers same as saddam.
Common sense tells me it would take another 33 years to reach the break even point.
4. What is the future for Iraq ?
The future is bright for 80% of the Iraqis ... not so good for 20% of the iraqis.
ps: the iranians are liking this more and more ... the public not the rulling mullahs.
Can we use common sense from now on ... I like it

I have never met such fanatic political analyst.
Q#1. Who are responsible for current situation?
Q#2. Can any resistance movement run against the will of 80% population?
"I want to send my support to the Iraqi resistance fighters; I admire them and they have the right to fight the invaders who have occupied their country by force."
why do we automatically assume that the 80% of the people against saddam are happy now ... saddam's gone ... but the americans are still here ... are the 80% happy about that ? ...
common sense ... finny
The future is bright for 80% of the Iraqis ...
How ? ... What will make them happy ? ... getting rid of saddam ? ... saddam was a hurdle and time wouldve gotten over him ... so that couldve guarnteed their happiness ...
so What will make their future bright and the sunni's future not ... ?
