the purplish grey one appears when the person who reps you has zero rep power. Your rep power starts to appear and increase once you hit 50 posts.

probably means it would only be counted once the user's posts reach 50 ... am only guessing though!.....

It is to show you that the person did rep you; but because they have no rep power it doesn't affect the count of your rep points. You do get to see the member, the post they repped you for and what they said.

Obviously this system works better than not letting people without rep power give rep at all.

Well why dont you ppl put it as an option ... i mean it seems that ppl like it or prefere it so i think you should put it as an option with the red and the green!

lol, its just that the listing is programmed to only show so many. Everytime you get a new rep, your oldest one gets removed from the list.

as Enigma mentioned, the list shows the last 30 Reps you have recieved everytime you recieve a new one once you have 30 Reps the first down on the list disapears. But of course just from that list but its value is always there.

So its basically a FIFO -First In First Out- method.

Well if it isn't, then there's only two other possible explanations that I know of; either there's a problem with your template (it was messed up for me, new reps weren't showing for the longest time) or someone from the Admin favors you :p

LooooooLs........ is that serious?... I've only realized the red reps goin which weren't that many... so they stood out... if the green ones disappeared I wouldn't have realized it as much....

Then its probably just the normal process that DD and I explained.

Besides, if you are loosing red reps you should be happy not worried! :D

As CR pointed. Reps go in one way.. once given cant be taken back. So its just the flow of Reps thats all.
