I would like to know, how members prepare for their exams?
Are you the type who would stay awake the whole night, studying away, or are you one of them who studies the whole year round and believes in "rest is best before the test"?
How do you prepare youself?

...huha... I might be able to give tips... but I personally hardly study more than 10 mins a day.... except a few days before exams and even then I won't study more than 2 hours..... so I neither don't sleep the night nor prepare weeks before that.... I just listen in class and study by reading it all over again or taking notes... which is why I am better at understanding things more than memorizing since memorizing takes me hours and I hate it :(... but all in all my studying times are limited...(however) u'll be surprised with what 2 hours of serious revising could do! ;)....

I have an exam on monday. :) I haven't been for lectures. I've been for 2/13 tutorials. I'm studying now. because I AM SO SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
I think you can tell that I'm a last-minute person.. though I really wouldn't recommend it. :os

I study 2 days before the exam, i know people from my university study weeks before their exams! But in my case the information sticks more in my head when ever i study a night before.. i also sleep very late during exmas periods and wake up very early that means that i only sleep 2-3 hours and after the exam is done.. am off to bed:D

For me, it depends on the subject. Right now, I am taking Philosophy, Oral Communications, Urban Sociology & English...for all these subjects I can "cram" which means to study the night before the test and still pass but I actually prefer to study gradually and because when I cram, I am usually so tired the next morning so I wouldnt encourage that. Studying gradually allows me to remember a lot...and reviewing the night before the test refreshes my memory :)
With Subjects like math, I think studying at the last minute is out of the question because math is something you must know as you study. Theres so many different techniques & formula's you have to remember to solve a problem...so I think cramming the night before a test with math is useless unless you are some sort of genius with a super memory :p . I think it's either something you know or you dont know.

I get prepared 3 months before the exams, its like everyday 2-4hrs. one month before the exams its like 10hrs a day, really killing! Afterall I'm not that good student, I wish I have capabilities of doing everything at last moment.
Too little brain can't handle that.
