description:

In this world, there exist people with special abilities to manipulate objects and transform those objects into other objects. These people are known as alchemist. However, this manipulation process does not come without cost, as the basic alchemy rules stated that something with equivalent cost is needed to perform the manipulation.

The main character is a famous alchemist named Edward Elric, who loses his little brother Alphonse in an accident. Edward manages to contain his brother's soul in a large piece of armor suit. However, merging the soul and body of the dearly departed comes with great cost, so the two brothers must embark on a journey to find a mysterious power amplifier which can reduce the cost to manipulate objects greatly.

anyways .... i really enjoyed watching the 51 episodes and waiting for the movie to be released.. its one of my favorites animes

Damn right, it is one of the best animes ever made. The plot, graphics, action, drama, comdey...everything is just excellent. I can't wait for the movie.

its a very good anime, i only watched few epsi....and i am planning to watch it all soon.

I watched the movie trailer it looks promising... the movie takes place two years after the series,,, Ed looks tall in the movie i wonder if he started drinking milk :D

I was disapointed with the ending made me want more but a great series. Got hooked up on it very fast. One thing I've to mention it had lots of sad, depressing dark moments.

thats wut made it enjoyable. i like sad moments. but i think they where abit too cruel (the payphone incident).. too bad i cant say why otherwise it i spoil it for the ppl who didnt watch it.
