Scenario -

You are walking somewhere, and you happen to find a wallet with let's say about 100 OMR intact and some credit cards and a photo but no address.

What would you do? Return it back as it is, or take the money and return it? Or rather just take money and throw away the wallet?

What would you do? (Pleae be honest, no angels)

I would return the wallet intact to one of the credit card companies listed.

Take it to the Police Station and hand it in. Simple enough.

Its actually rare that someone would KEEP it. Believe it or not, most humans are pretty decent!

either do as what most of my colleagues would do.....police....or as fax said, get it to the bank which issued the credit card.......

mind you, even if you i were deperate for money, i don't think i would take the cash...

some people can steal let alone take lost and found property.........my mobile was stolen in less than a minute in the university, computer room.......i left it unattended just to give in my assignment next door....i was back and it was gone......

it happened to me once.. i found a wallet in select(shell) .. i didnt even bother opening it so they might have been 100 rials or nothing ..i just gave it to the cashier who was in charge.. after 10 min a guy came to me and asked me if i saw a wallet i told him i found it and gave it to the cashier :D

All most all the time circumstances have an influence on once morality.
There are a few people, who can overcome the greediness, in any circumstances.
I am sure I would return the wallet with 100 OMR.
Over a phone call you can get address, if fail take the help of police.
( If it is other than Bangladesh)
100 OMR are equivalent 260 American Dollar.
But if you found a brief case with 100 thousand dollar along with address, what you would do?

I won't steal it... I won't feel good doing so... seriously!... besides, if there was money in it and I stole it.... and it was more than 1000 riyals then obviously when the person finds his wallet thrown later, he would report that his money was stolen... then my fingerprints would be on the wallet and tara!... (unless I watch too many movies).... but better safe than sorry...
however... a guy would be dumb to carry so much money in his pocket

consider me a girl in my own world... so if I see a wallet on the ground once... I pass through without a second look... meaning I won't even pick it up... but if it somehow fell into my hands (unlikely) ... and it had so much money in it... I'd take it to the police... theft is a crime (not saying that I'm a good girl, I steal.(which i call borrowing withour permission)....but only small things).... and stealing so much would be considered a huge crime... i'd be sent to jail straight away... so y go through all that? I'd rather live a normal happy life... cuz money wont buy me happiness... bas...
