Kamakazy 08-05-05, 05:30 PM Introduction

It’s a free service where the subscriber will be getting an "alert message" when someone is trying to get in touch with him and he's out of reach. Thug4Life 08-05-05, 07:01 PM good one
Yet Wont let us forget the doubled amount of Bill end of every month!!!!
Go Go figure :)
CrazyReD 09-05-05, 04:03 AM yeah true what you said thug the 45bzs per min is just to much compared to a 19bz one
DeSerTDesTroYeR 09-05-05, 10:03 AM Quite a useful service. A nice addition for sure.
NiGhTFaCe 09-05-05, 01:33 PM I tried this service before with one of the operators in India, it was for Postpaid & Prepaid subscribers, I dont know why Oman Mobile is limiting it for the Postpaid ones only!!
The service in India was you call someone, if his phone is OFF, so then he will be informed by SMS after switching it ON, & the caller will be informed as well!
I dont know if it will work the same here.
amo_l_oman 09-05-05, 01:37 PM Overseas how?
I don't get the number calling me even though stored !!!
NiGhTFaCe 13-06-05, 01:19 PM The service is available now for the Prepaid(Hayyak) users.
Arabian Princess 13-06-05, 02:10 PM yeah true what you said thug the 45bzs per min is just to much compared to a 19bz one
cummon CR .. 19 bz is just nawras to nawras calls!! and 45 bz is on peak hours (for 3 rials mada package). you cannot compare the two.
I tried the service and truly its very useful even though my phone is on all the time. Sometimes when I am around anarea and the irsal gets cut, i immediatly once its back I get a message that somoene tried to call.
I just activated the feature in my phone. Although my phone is on all the time. But I have a Q:
* What does it mean to Divert if not avaiable? as in phone is off? but then it asks me to choose the delay time?!!!
Fast_HacKinG 13-06-05, 02:59 PM Yeah am using it too and I'm annoyed with it to be honest. Most of the time I close my phone but now I better keep it silent so that I dont receive the 7 messages!
NiGhTFaCe 14-06-05, 05:38 PM Blood Rose, you are supposed to set it for when its out of reach, this will work whenever the phone is off, or theres no network.
Shinoda LP 14-06-05, 08:46 PM So you get an SMS when you're out of reach and someone's calling you? How do you get the signal to get an SMS while you can't get a call?
I'm confused.
DeSerTDesTroYeR 14-06-05, 09:25 PM shinoda, once you get back on the network as in signal back again, then the sms will be sent with which ever calls have been attempted to your number.

Ah, okay! (......)

DeSerTDesTroYeR 29-05-07, 01:51 PM I just tried it again and its working fine. Try to add +968 before the numbers and test if it works.

NiGhTFaCe 31-05-07, 12:44 AM Just a general tip, to check with any operator if they run this missed call alert service.
In your mobile settings, you will check the divert calls options, by going to through all the sub options within this, you find something called Check Status or Get Status, here you can know if it works or not.
AMARANT 02-06-07, 02:09 AM im using it, and it is very useful sometimes...
but the strange thing is, sometimes im in muscat, and my phone is on, and i get a WAINAK message?! :os
NiGhTFaCe 02-06-07, 02:35 AM but the strange thing is, sometimes im in muscat, and my phone is on, and i get a WAINAK message?! :os
Its not strange really, sometimes we are out of the coverage area, so when we receive calls at that moment, we get the missed call alert after getting the coverage back.
