This is her second album to date after her mild success with her debut 'to whom it may concern' which sold around one million copies to date in the U.S , and which i happened to quite like. She might not have the best voice in the industry but there is something special and unique about her style which makes her music somewhat appealing. I listened to this album a few times b4 writing this and I cant seem to get the songs out of my head nor find a weak moment in the whole thing. I really enjoyed listening to every single track on it , especially the brilliant duet with 'pink' which she appears on the backing vocals of the song 'Shine'. The album is Produced mostly by 'Linda perry' ( Pink , Christina aguilera and Gwen stefani ) so its not a surprise that the albums is quite good and far better than her debut. I hope this does well for her.
make sure to give it a listen...though i doubt many will like it.
My fave tracks : 'shine' , 'raven' and 'when you go'.
