In a relationship what's loyality?
how do you define a loyal husband??
Er...in the most literal sense, one that doesn't go to bed with other people!
But more generally, I would say a loyal partner is someone who is always on your side (including when you're not there!) even with members of their own family.

someone who does talk about you behind your back, or share your secrets with others someone who will confront you when you do something wrong and always make sure that no one says bad things about you.

In a relationship what's loyality?
Perhaps it's the essence of being purely honest with the other and stuck with them, despite anything possible... of course within human range...
Might be also... having faith and believing in one another...
how do you define a loyal husband??
Someone who is able to maintain the marriage relationship, no matter what she does... and doesnt rebound because of her mood for example..
Someone able to mentally, heartly and physically only dedicate himself to his wife... and sets her as his top one and the only one there is.
Loyal husband, is basically being faithful to your spouse , honest , believing in them and being dedicated to your wife.
And then there is the physical aspect where he shouldnt go to bed or flirt with other women. My thoery is " a husband can look at a woman , as long as he doesnt touch"
I mean to be realistic , no matter what , men will look at other women , so as wives , we might as well accept it and still consider him a loyal husband.
I will understand if women say , that he shouldnt look at other women when he is with his wife , but the truth to the matter , is that they do !!
I know I will be attacked by women for this :S
My thoery is " a husband can look at a woman , as long as he doesnt touch"
Do you expect him to tell you if he started touching?
And as you said the right word for loyal is being faithful.
No , ofcourse not .
he shouldnt touch another woman infront of me , thats what I mean by my theory.
If he does touch a woman , regardless if it was infront of me or behind my back , I will make sure he cannot conceive kids !!

so if a man marries a second wife is he considered loyal and faithful to the first???
Yes , he does.
If islam permits it , who are we to judge whether he is faithful or not ! As long as he is faithful to his religion , it doesnt matter what the first wife thinks

so if a man marries a second wife is he considered loyal and faithful to the first???Islamically speaking: 'Yes', he is considered faithful....Emotionally and physically for the 1st wife: 'No', I suppose.
so if a man marries a second wife is he considered loyal and faithful to the first???
There is no connection between having a 2nd wife and being loyal/faithful.
How about concubines too?

One that does not go to bed with other people, and that includes him not marrying anyone else. (That means if he does take another wife, I would see that as cheating).
A loyal husband is the one who will not share himself with any other woman, emotionally and physically, but is always there for you and always by your side.

I guess I ought to ask before anyone else does, at least from me you know its cynical.
'Do loyal husbands exist?'
if a man married a 2nd wife, without telling his 1st than he is not loyal....
Maybe he got his own reasons and also could be he is planing to tell her in the right time to minimize the shock, so it depends.
I think they are !
I mean , there are men who appear to be loyal according to my definition. so I guess they exist .
PT , why , should I be worried ??!?!

so if a man marries a second wife is he considered loyal and faithful to the first???
it really depends the way he got married to the second wife!! and the reason!
like Blossom said, if he married the second one without telling the first I wouldnt have considered him faithful.

In a relationship what's loyalty?
it's being open and honest, and not doing anything behind the other persons back that you wouldnt do in front of them. That's the truest sense of loyalty and freedom.
how do you define a loyal husband??
The same way i define a loyal wife.

CRed, Raed likes to be a philosopher...you need to 'read' between his lines ;)
A loyal husband is the one who will not share himself with any other woman, emotionally and physically,... What about if a man likes to share himself mentally to other women, is it considered loyal?

I am a jealous gal, I want him all to myself.
It's all or none. None, so that I am free to go get a man who I can have all to myself. :p
I am selfish and jealous, and sorry won't be shared.
But, one min, what exactly do you mean by mentally?
To tell you the truth, I just don't trust men, especially if they are sitting too long talking to some woman and having a great conversation. He might start liking her, there are too many cases like that. Plus I don't trust women either, many don't mind stealing husbands.

But, one min, what exactly do you mean by mentally? By that I meant 'fantasizing', 'imaginating' that they are close and personal with a particular woman they find attractive, but can't get. Now if you want to ask me why a man would do such a thing, then ask Mimo :p
it will be ridiculous if you consider your husband sharing his " mental" views as unloyal !

Oh you mean like that, I don't mind, he can fantasize all he wants. As long as it does NOT become a reality.

If you're talking about me and Britney, her problem is really not my fault. The girl is unwell and everyone is just trying to be supportive OK? And i you mean something else, then enough of your slander! I demand an explanation!
