Ok, Im looking for a nokia. It needs to have excellent functions and stuff, and well-sized (so no communicator). At this point price doesnt matter. Right now I fancy the 6230, but Im wondering what you guys think is the best.

6600 is preety good so is it's modifed version 6670

I personally can't wait to see how the very new 7280 (coming soon) one would work, it's feminsh though, so i'm not sure you'd go for it!

Ones with faults -or so I heard- are:
6820 and 6600

I currently use 6800, it's worked perfectly for the past 2 yrs -I adore the full keyboard feature-, but I dislike the fact that it doesn't have a camera and it's quite big, the 6820 would've been the best substitue but it's said to have faults :cry:

I do recommend Sony Ericsson as well. But Nokia wise. I think the 6630 is one of the best right now by nokia.

That was just a comment Vamp, the pictures you posted do not contain mobile phones, or at least that's what i see.. i just see very weird sets of x-ray slides or whatever that is!!

Well, the 6630 looks neat, i just might go with that.

I prefer Nokia to Sony Ericsson and any of the others because in my experience they are the best for me.

Anyways, I am using the Nokia 6230, & it almost got everything, MP3 Player, Video Recorder, where you can reach up to 4 minutes, for connection you can use the Bluetooth + IR. The size of phone is really small comaring it to the phones by Nokia.


I believe most of the phones for now got bugs, so you cant prefer one on another.

Almost all mobile phones now satisfy most of the general 'required standards' > MMS, Coloured Screens, MP3, and Cameras. The decision that you have to make is whether you want something that looks good or a power house instead.

The 6230 is one of my all time favourites, not only that it looks sleek and stylish, but it also has an MP3 player, animated screen savers, and external memory features (MMC). On the other hand, it runs a S40 OS. Not only that this usually means a 128x128 resolution screen, but a locked up OS with almost zero 'real applications' to install on your phone. The phone OS is extremely stable, quite fast, and is perfect for those people that want to use their phones just to call, text, listen to MP3 and play simple games. If you are looking for MORE you'll need to look for a S60 mobile phone such as the 6630 or the sexy 7610, which I completely adore except for its "Reduced Size MMC" memory sticks, but you should not worry about that if you have never had an MMC compatible phone cause you would have to throw all your previous cards and move on to the new system.

If youve got the cash ...
go for the 6630 ... It's a 3G phone ..

but if you are kinda tight you can go for the 6670

Can anyone tell me the following:
the average price of the nokia 6630 and the average price of the motorola V3 razr? And is it true the razr doesnt have space for a memory stick??

I have the 6600, and I really like it, except for the fact that I can't have any mp3 files, which sux coz most of the good ringing tones work on real player. Other than that, it's fine.

PT, I don't know much about Motorola, but this Motorola (http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-v3-en.shtml)v3 does not have memory stick features.

Dr N, you can install an MP3 player on your phone, there are at least 3 different MP3 players that can be installed on that phone, my personal favourite is Ultra MP3.

with my experience .. never ever think of getting sony ericssion!!! my husband got it and regreted leaving out nokia .. the technology is great .. if just it would work all the time!!

in 6630, the picture's quality is not so perfect .. it gets these small annoying dots..

i got 6260 and it's cool.. the only thing is that it switches off sometimes by itself without a reason.. Errr..

Yes, I read a sample review, it also has 2 speakers for stereo sound, very interesting.. Hope it goes into production.

i got 6230 its sooo coool and its not that kind of mobiles which u should stay 1 hour to get t he numbers or whatever...

Same problem with me guys, am using a Sony Ericsson K700 and i am starting to hate it :( its not Symbian too!

So What would u recommend? N-series? 6680 or 9500?

If i go for N-series, u know all nokias as soon as they come they have bugs and bad softwares so i'd have to wait for a month or upto 4 months. Same with 6680 and i want a phone that has a POWERFUL battery. What do you guys recommend?

I think this is the best Nokia phone ever.. its so Feminine.. it has everything that gurls need.. a screen with a small mirror.. a camera.. Mp3 songs.. bluetooth and infread.. I love it soooooo much u cant imagin how much space i have in my bag when i carry this phone with me :color: its a nice phone for girls who like going to weddings and social parties they dont have to carry big bags with them.. its so cute.. :flower:

To tell you the truth, IMO 6670 is one of the best...But the best phone i have ever used is Nokia 6680, i've been using this phone for more than a month now..no complaints at all and my phone battery stays for 3 days.

i have 3310 until now since ages, i just change the battery every 8 months am satisfied with it no blue tooth, no infered... nothing in it. :)

And you can throw it on anyone without damaging the phone alot as damaging the person you hit ;)

6630 is the best out of all it rules!!! it looks so elegent its a 3G phone with bluetooth, clear camera 1.3Mega pixels. it has this very useful movie maker (movie director). i just love ma 6630!! :blush:

How often do you Use bluetooth?.. Camera..?? and Video??... I guess many of us we Buy New Gsm Models for the sake of having a New set. Unfortunately many dont use all the feature given... :yell:

now I have a sony ericsson t610.. its not bad, but its pretty good to have comparing the lack of phones they have here in canada and the US as they are very outdated.

I think you better wait for the nokia N series because it is the 4th genaration version and its pretty good and small in size like the N91 is cool you can save at least 3000 songs check it out on there web site www.nokia.com

I still have my 6600. If you load it with apps, you can do almost anything with it, like play mp3, store photos, use as a mini PDA...well, it has a lot of uses as long as you know which app to put in.

you can also play many video games in it i play N-gage games in it and Game boy advance, Game boy color , Super Nes . Nes , Sega Genesis , Sega Game Gear and many more stuffs, and if you are good in java Script you will be able to add your own home made programs to install it on Nokia 6600 .
