Hiya all,
I'm thinking of buying a tablet PC. I had one in mind but then my friends made me think that I am better off with that one. Now I need to find one that is known to be pretty good and yet be fairly priced. Any idea? internal cd-r/dvd is not even a requirement, i don't mind an external one...

Computer guys, HELP ME!

Lately at work I've been shuffling about a lot between two different buildings and attending alot of meetings in which I have to take notes. I decided to get a tablet PC and asked around. Apparently in Oman you can only get Acer, Fujitsu Siemens and Toshiba tablet PCs. I asked for quotations from first two and the prices were ridiculous. Fujitso quote me something like 1200 rials. Acer was cheaper but their tablet weighs something like 3kgs. It was crazy. I gave up on the idea. I'm sticking with paper for now.

I didn't even bother to ask Toshiba for a quotation because they are always overpriced in Oman.

Toshiba are by far the best brand of any laptop or tablet computer, but they are all extremely expensive as tablet technology never really took off. You would be better off getting a palm pilot or a laptop....
