People listen to more romantic/sad Indian songs than from other genres. Unlike the West, the movie industry also provides a stiff competition to those that come out with only individual albums ...

Hmm, I do not listen to a lot of Indian songs btw ... except for some remixes on and off.

What exactly do you want to ask?

Well i love indian songs, not all of them though because i feel that Indian songs tend to shift a lot towards the romantic genre. I must say though that there are a lot of beautiful songs, especially the recent adnan sami album as well as Veer Zaara that i just havent been able to stop listening. I know a lot of people say that oldies are gold but i think the way it is being remixed nowdays is better than listening to the old tuneless song. I also love bhangra and the bhangra songs nowdays are top class thanks to Richie Rich and the gang.

I hate indian songs but i love the movies though!!!

I like Indian Music; it's melodious, romantic and versatile. Hindi language has melody in it i believe. Simple conversation seems like poems. And I don't like remixing of instrumental music and vulgar video in the music especially in Old famous songs.

Hindi movies are good and romantic, that’s true but they should make more films, which has different story not only love and romance.

i am not a huge indian fan because i cannot watch an indian movie without translation....
i believe all movies created in any language are worth a watch sometime or the other.
i hear music from allover the world no bias......though most i do not understand only for english, arabic and swahili.
i like indian music which has been the hit nowadays with remixes in english....i mean indian + english mix.
i also like panjabi music.....the beats are great......and their dj's...indian....are worth a trial.

i dont like indian songs that much but only some of them are nice.
