Putting two different people together has both positives and negetives. the phrase "opposites attract" is often used to explain why two people are together or should be together. there is one pairing which i think is one of the most agonizing, and that's the pairing of the giving person with the taking person. for all you sarcastic wise @ss people, yes when someone gives, there's always someone who takes... that's not what i'm talking about... i'm talking about their character.
there are two different kind of people, the givers and the takers.
the giving person - bless thier hearts, which are so big and loving. these people will give everything they have to please the person they care about. they will give their last piece of bread if their partner was hungry.
the taking person - bless their hearts, which have gone unused for so long. these people are always thinking 'me first'. they have to 'get theirs', and think of the person who has less of the prize object as the loser. they dont see things in terms of 50/50, because even means they didn't get enough. they'll let the work be done by others, yet claim victory and the prize as theirs.
these two people don't belong together. I repeat, these two people do not belong together.. them being together will just destroy the giver, make the giver turn into an evil person.. the giver will eventually start thinking of ways to kill the taker.. ok ok maybe I'm over doing it but the giving person will eventually feel taken for granted, and resentful. they will continue to give painfully. they will suffer mentally and emotionally... and god forbid will be less giving. the taking person will receive fule for their personality flaw. their taking desires will grow, and expand to other circles as their partner has already been conquered. they will present themselves as a success and an achiever, on the work of the giving person. the giving person will continue, in growing agony... until one day....
Points to keep in mind:
1. There seem to be way too many takers in the world, as compared to givers. Givers need givers in return, and takers need takers.
2. Most takers dont know they are takers. I dont think they realize they are sucking the life out of someone. For example, I know someone who is a taker, big time taker, but thinks he is a givers and he think he gives toooo much!
3. Takers are just using the "giving" as a shield to protect their reputation of being takers...
I dont know where this thread is going.. but just share your opnion on what I just said.
