I was reading the Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, when I came across some surprising recommended tasks, which I honnestly ignored until today:

(e9.0) GOING TO THE LAVATORY:

e9.1: It is recommended when one intends to use the lavatory:

1) To put something on one's feet, unless there is an excuse (O: such as not having shoes);

2) To cover the head (O: even if only with a handkerchief or other);

3) ....
...
....
7) Not to raise one's garment until one squats down to the ground (O: to keep one's nakedness covered as much as possible) and to lower it before one stands up;

8) To put most of one's weight on the left foot while squatting;

9) Not to spend a long time;

10) Not to speak;
...
......My question is for the Muslims only!:

~ Wandering if any of you follow these recommandations and if any of you know why doing the opposite might not be considered as desirable?

NO I DON'T EVER FOLLOW THOSE :(:)

AS

1) To put something on one's feet, unless there is an excuse (O: such as not having shoes);

MY BATHROOM IS NEAT AND CLEAN, TOTALLY HYGENIC

2) To cover the head (O: even if only with a handkerchief or other);

I NEVER FEEL LIKE COVERING MY HEAD

3) ....
...
XYZ
....
7) Not to raise one's garment until one squats down to the ground (O: to keep one's nakedness covered as much as possible) and to lower it before one stands up;

I OFTEN TAKA SHOWER WITHOUT ANY GARMENTS!

8) To put most of one's weight on the left foot while squatting

I DO THAT, THAT HAPPENS AUTOMATIC:)

9) Not to spend a long time;

I READ, SING, PHONE FROM BATH :D

10) Not to speak;

I ANSER ANY QUESTION AND I DO QUESTION FROM THERE ;) IT?S FUNNY NA?

I have heard the one where we don't speak or sing I don't do it unless someone else is speaking to me outside the bathroom n needs something important...But I never knew of the rest...
I am not sure why it is not desirable possibly something with the jin as they said the toilet is there humble home...but I have no idea..
