I am 100% a Nokia person! It is high time for me to change the one I currently have (model 7650 above pic), but nothing really attracts me so far. Either, I don't like the shape, the colors or the patterns on the new ones.

With his Eid money, my son will soon get the 6260 (see below pic), but it is so thin that I am wandering if the battery will last long. Nice model though :love:

Why I don't like the 7610?

The keypad is stupid. Anyone who tells you that you'll get used to it is lying. You will keep making errors, hitting wrong keys, etc.

The speaker's crap. What's the use of having polyphonic ring tones, wav compatibility etc if they're going to sound like sh!t when you hear them. The sound is so bad, it's like a piece of tin has been put in place of a speaker.

The sound isn't high enough. Trying using the phone if you're in a crowded place. Even at the highest level, it's too low to hear clearly.

It slows down a lot a few weeks after you start using it.

It's totally non-intuitive. Not exactly the friendliest phone to use, but that's a problem with the Nokia operating system not just this phone.

What other phone do I like?

Unfortunately, at the moment I couldn't find anything else which is why I bought this one. I guess I should have bought the 6230. Less features but I'm sure a better phone.

Muscati, add to it that the 7610 will have software problems by 3-4months of use, my brother bought it at June. At september the REAL problems began, he had some problems before september though. My friend changed it too. The phones shape, colour and Camera are good but again, software problems will rule them out. I experienced the same with 6600, although i loved it and i didnt want to change it, but then again I did change it for the Sony Ericsson K700i at the beggining of October as i had a 521MB memory card for my 6600 and i gave the shop my memory card to add stuff in it because i accidentaly formatted it, unfortunately...the shop lost my memory card and by that time software problems striked again, so i changed it. I have no problems with K700i sofar except with Battery and taking pictures without BRIGHT light. I dont think i will change the K700i but if i will, i am not planning to sell it though. What i dont like is that it doesnt play .rm videos and .wav sound clips.

Mascati maybe ur one is FAKE .. u know .. to make sure check the back of the battery and see where it's made.. if it said made by nokia and the battery had lots of stickers on the it's 100% FAKE..

I got the phone from MHD. It's 100% the real deal. The phone sucks. I'm not the one who's had the same complaints with it.

True , NOKIA is the best , I know. I used older Nokia and Panasonic too.
But Nokia gave the best performance. Nokia-3315 gave me the best.

I remember every time i go to shop, the first thing the guy tells you is: it has 15000 colors!!! 30000!!!! 65000!!! As if....
The more colors and features they add the more battery is needed, and they say also 300 hours resistance!!!!

I use the Nokia 8210. It was brilliant up until about 5 months ago: the buttons started to stop working, and now it keeps switching to headset. I might have to replace it soon.

Nokia 6230 (Pearl White).. Pretty much satisfied with this phone, has built in mp3 support and the speaker is quite good. VGA camera, not that good but I like the speed and ease of use with this phone. Some problems when using MMC cards bigger than 128MB, but can be fixed with a newer firmware.
